New growth pretty dead, now what?

One of my plants i think had an over fert problem, i flushed her last night and overnight the over all plant got a lot better, over all colour. But the very top of the plant, ( leaves only stem is green. ) is burnt due to being too close to the light or over fert, either way I fixed the problem, I just do not know whether to remove the leaves? i have not seen any new growth come in for awhile. The plant has also been pre flowered for two weeks and this is the end of the first week for the final budding. So the plant is a decent way into the process, thanks to all that reply. Edit: no new growth from the top has came in for awhile* Other parts of the plant are branching off and growing quite well.

There isn't much you can do but take care of it as best you can. Most damaged plant parts don't repair themselves and need to be replaced by new growth. Try to focus on the other, undamaged branches.

Well the only thing is the main shoot's new leaves are the ones damaged so I don't know if it will grow correctly since it is starting to bud. Only have three girls so I am trying to keep death / little growth out of the equation.

It probably won't grow normally at first. You should expect some twisted, gnarled growth from that shoot for awhile until it recovers. This may not occur if just the leaves and not the actual growth node are damaged. If there are any large branches capable of supporting decent bud growth, try to keep them closest to the light.
