New growth in buds (in red circle)

This plant germinated on Thanksgiving and I just noticed some new greenish stuff growing within the buds. Any idea what this is and how to address, if at all? Thanks.

You mean sugar leaves?

At this point the buds are still growing. And yes, the new growth should be green.

Ok thanks both. I’m guessing they are new sugar leaves. I was concerned that they went hermie.
