New Growers Read This Before You Harvest

Hey guys/girls just wanted to take a minute and discuss the optimal harvest time with you guys, I've seen far too many people wanting to harvest their plants early only to find the airy buds shrink to almost nothing once dried. A plant that looks like it's got a couple ounces on it wet is only going to give you about half an ounce once it fully dries and cures. The reason the good growers get insane weight and yield is because they leave their plants go until it's completely finished swelling, that can be anywhere from 8 weeks to 15 for some varieties. 8 weeks being the earliest for regular indica's, though the breeders advertise and 7 or 8 week flower time, you can usually add a couple weeks to that if you want the dense rock hard nugs and strong hitting buzz and taste. Seriously take your time and be patient as possible, you'll know when it's ready the plant/buds will look swollen and the pistils/hairs will be brown and reseading into the calyx's. Also the calyx's will be swollen and this is where the majority of THCA is formed. Also try to take your time drying as the THC only forms once the bud/weed is dry and this is when you get the good taste and smoke. Good luck everyone!

This is right, do not listen to grow bibles etc that tell you to harvest at 70% red hairs, wait till almost no hairs and full swelling has taken place to get the hardest heaviest weight.
