New grower

i had a question maybe someone can help me' i am currently growing about 6 seedling under a2 foot 20 watt fluorescent i am getting more light soon, budget is tight any good suggestions, is this enough for the time being. also what fertilizer should i buy

Before you do anything get more light lol. If budget is tight them jst go to your local wall-mart and get ureself some energy saving light bulbs.

You want two 50 watt tubes about 4 foot long but dont expose them to this power of light till seedlings are about 1.5 inches tall.as for fertiliser it depends on what stage the plant is at for seedlings water only for 2/3 weeks at start then go with 1/2 strength miracle gro feeding it only once a week.seedlings need a fertiliser high in nitrogen.and miracle gro has an n.p.k. Of 24/8/16.once the plant is on its way 3/4/ inches use something with an n.p.k. Of about 8.8.8 but only use half strenght an feed them this once a week otherwise water is fine throughout the week.(dont overwater of over feed or you will kill them)

if your really strapped for cash, put them in the window sill ( if possible )
