New Grower

I am a new grower. Got a couple of dro seeds out of the bag and figured I would see what I could do. I read up all I could find and feel like I know the basics. I germinated my seeds for around 5 days and let the root come out and could see the plant starting to produce its first set of leaves so I planted them in Fox Farms organic soil and gave it a watering with some water with General Hydroponics FloraNova Grow and they shot up quite nice. This was about 3 weeks but now one plant is all the way on its side and the other is starting to slump over as well and I haven't changed a thing. I have em in a pot inside of my sun room that is suppose to have windows that give out uv rays to the plants in the room and don't have no hs or mh bulbs. What am I doing wrong??

Very good the question was how much sunlight.is it south facing wot country r u in is it middle of winter.all variables theirs no need for sarcasim and did u lose half ur brain in ur profile pic?

im in the us, right now its summer with plenty of light during the day and around the 80s in temp

Yes I used Fox Farms organic soil and then added a little bit of FloraNova Grow into my water and added to soil

Honestly it looks like its stretched, I see that your in a greenhouse, any way of getting some extra light? When my girls stretch like that its because the stem is not strong enough to support the top, I usually use some pop sickle sticks, I put 1 on each side of the plant stem (4 sticks for each plant), creating a box around the stem that supports it, the stem leans on the pop sickle sticks that are propping it up. I had one plant I had to leave the pop sickle sticks on for about 2 weeks, but she produced like a mother fucker. Good Luck

I just noticed your pot has a couple inner lips, you could put your sticks on those and it would give it better support. You also might want to add a fan for some light LST

planting it deep in the container, the gap above soil to top of lid, has prevented it from getting wind/exercise.

more light.

case closed, your plant's fine.

if you want the greatest chance for survival, don't repot her until she is stronger...... do everything else.... don't let it dry out with the increased wind, then repot in a wk or two.

I wouldn't have waited so long to put her in a pot after germination... Waiting till you have leaves starting is to long..

Also, watering with nutes is not a good idea while your plant is so small.

I put it straight into pot after germination I didn't wait on that. Didn't know about the nutes and being so young. The grow seemed to sprout it up quick overnight

it'll stretch like hell if you don't get a light over it very soon.

I like the T-5 type fluorescent lights (100$) for veg, but you'll need a high intensity light for flower. you won't get any bud from the available light in that room.

Damn don't have a lot to spend on lights and everything right now. Was lookin at buying a grow light kit with everything u need to set up and a hps and mh bulb included but once I get lights I either need to buy a grow tent r make space I don't really have in the house somewhere
