Could use some advice as to where you think I'm at so far with this new grow. Well, it's actually my first real grow outside of a little PC box upon which I have grown a couple little girls in dirt.. Took the opportunity to learn some topping, fimming, and trimming techniques with those little micros last year.
Current system is running in a 5x5 tent with four 5 gallon RDWC with a res day-lighted by a vented hood 1000W MH/HPS positioned 24" above the tallest girl.
Using AN PH Perfect nutes at about 800ppm with Hydroguard as well.
Water temp for the 6 hours dark is 59-62F and daylight at 68-72F.
Tent atmosphere is at 60% humidity and usually runs 5-10F warmer than water which has PH between 5.7-6.2.
There is an oscillating fan and humidifier in the tent.
Have 4 girls in the tent. All one week behind each other due to some bad seeds, lol - user error during seeding. And that's the easiest part - right? lol The back left girl is three weeks old yesterday. Topped it last week and just trimmed the lower branches yesterday. Looks a little less bushier now. I do notice the leave tips on bottom branched have slight dipping toward end. Maybe recovering from trimming yesterday? The one to the right is two weeks old and I just fimmed that one yesterday to see how the outcome will be different than straight out topping. The other two are out of view and as you can expect, very small yet. The strain is Northern Lights. That might be the reason they seem so short and fat. The stems are huge tree like stems though... The stem on the one on the left has passed 1/2 " thick. But, they seem really short for their girth and big leaves. The bottom leaves extend to the outside edges of the bucket. Maybe they will shoot up at flip??? Just appears to be bushing out more than growing up. Maybe going to have to veg longer? I was hoping for a 4 week veg but...
Open to advice. Am I screwing something up here? The pictures are not good. The color of the plants ARE good in person though.
The other strain I've done and it was in dirt was Blueberry and it was tall and skinny with tiny leaves in comparison.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Good or bad..
