new grower new closet grow room

hellow everyone first time grower here ^_^
what can i say i just got this huge thing its a 105w 6500k 5600 lumens
this are unkown strains i belive i have here 3 difrent strains
the rest of the cfls are 24w 6500k i belive 5 of them
the ladys just turned 10 days old
and im going to get started on my flowering supplies wich i dont seem to understand that well on the lighting i would like to get one of those HPs but i dont know what the ballast is and how to hook one up seems like rocket science to me

im guessing the lady's got some shock from re-potting cuzz they havnt shown any growth in a few days =_=

I would suggest raising your plants up closer to the lights as soon as you can.

well i just added that huge thing that is giving out just as much as all the small one together.
I just dont have any ways to lower them with out getting the heat way to high

can you lower the smaller lights? cfls can't really do their thing unless they're real close to the plants. they can make a space pretty warm but a basic fan should suffice to blow the heat away from the canopy. it's not a concentrated heat so it's much easier to control than hid heat. if you have 10 bucks to spare i would suggest a digital thermometer with a probe, and just postition the probe near the middle of your canopy (or this early on, the tops of the pots).

Yea man CFLs need to be inches away from plants to get a good effect from them. Otherwise, you will stretch your seedlings badly.

nice macro shot there i have to say this was my first time seeing any of the purple strains i got all exited getting this nice nug LAWL
anyways...
my idea was since since i cant lower the ligths anymore than ....
i should jsut get the plants higher so i did and the plants are inches away from the small bulbs and the big one is jsut in the center of all the plants
hope this fixes things up a lil
also got a nice big fan cooling the lamps and moving air around yay
