This is only my second grow. Its a Bubblegum Auto Fem 17days from dry seed. Edges of leaves are curling up, not yellowing or getting crispy.

FFOF Soil
General hydroponics Nutes
250w Cfl with reflective hood about 6in from top of plant

You shouldn't need any nutrients at all for a good while, isn't it usual to not add nutrients until flowering with foxfarmoceanforest?

Yeah recomended is to wait 3 weeks before giving it any nutes.. I gave it next to nothing in terms of nutes probably 2ml/2L of water. Is foxfarm hot right out of the bag?

I honestly thought it was the low humidity.. i live in ohio so the heat is cranked up right now and the RH in the tent is about 25 with the lights on..

Im also growing in soil using general hydro and found even their starter ratio to be too hot for my g13.
I was getting burnt tips an curling when the plant was that size. I guessed that because of the lack of roots, even after a week of straight water there was still plenty of nutrients left in the soil.
Since then i have just been using the nutes when she appears to need something. I am a month into veg and still only feed once every 2 weeks at the general hydro seedling recommended ratio minus some bloom. I am using 1/4tsp micro, 1/4tsp gro, and 1/8 tsp bloom per gallon.

I think it looks more like a heat issue. Your thermometer says high of 86, probably hotter directly under the light. The baby probably doesnt have enough root growth to move enough water to keep it from drying out. Try backing off the light a bit and see if the new growth looks better. I have no experience with cfl's but 6 inches at 250 watts seems too close.

Thank you! Will move the light higher up.
