new grower! need advice!

I start mine in 20 oz styrofoam cups.I poke holes in the sides and bottom with a hot ice pick.I make a hole with a pencil half inch deep one seed per hole.keep in dark intill they come up then turn lights on.keep temp at 80.transplant to three gal containeers you can buy at your local shop.

There isn't really a rule of thumb I don't think. It would depend on your plant size. If you were to let one get unruly and just let her go then maybe. I have 6 plants vegging comfortably under mine, I will be topping and LSTing them to keep them low though. So really I think it's just how big you keep em and how well you manacure them. You want as much of the foliage under the footprint as possible
