New grower here

I’m noticing twisting of the newest growth in the last few pictures. Plants overall short and very shrubby. Try raising your light or lowering the intensity.
I raised it as high as it will go with the current setup. Which was another 2 inches…any tips on getting it higher? I’m thinking to take the clips off and use zip ties or something… my light is the HLG 100r and is not dimmable. My tent is 48” tall and the light calls for 12 inches to canopy. 05A7C996-72FF-48A8-A778-D833F4EF3BFF.jpegF4CB1E09-0C76-4C04-A4AB-B15D58A723DC.jpeg

I’m going to recommend a cheap quantum PAR meter.
I’m using the Photone app and my dli is sitting at 45ish currently. I guess I could change my light schedule from 24/0 to 20/4 so that I offset the extra strong light and keep my DLI in check. Isn’t thought process correct here?

Also is the one 6” fan ok or should I look into another forthe 2x2?

I know nothing about any apps using cell phones. I know when I bought my meter the bullshit ended. Turn the light on, measure and then set it and forget it. Further it immediately shows you where intensity is highest and lowest so you can arrange plants accordingly.

Some pruning wouldn’t kill you either.
It will aid in light penetration and air flow thru canopy.
More pruning? Is it ok that I just did a big (in my opinion) defoliation on Friday and that they’re autos? I’ll gladly get in there and take more but want to be sure that I’m not messing anything up.

So I did defoliate and added another fan at the bottom of the tent on 03/20. Here’s an updated pic from last night. I can’t believe they’re almost 6 weeks old!F17B8952-744D-453B-AC27-CB1B3B4DCC08.jpeg

Todays update…..6 weeks old today (I know that doesn’t matter but it’s a good reference point for me to keep up with how long we’ve been going)…I changed my light cycle from 24/0 to 21/3 because I have no more room to go up on my lights. Hopefully this will balance my DLI I noticed a few leaves were twisted at the top Ave it looks like I’m still having some nute burn? I’ll do a water with cal-mag tonight and hopefully be able to add more nutes next watering.6A5554D1-6F8B-4646-8EFE-9091A4FD7619.jpeg

Photo dump coming! I found a way to raise my light more and can now go back to the 24/0 light cycle. Otherwise my Dli is 37.x vs 43.x. Watered today with cal-mag. They took a little over a gallon each before having a little runoff. I’m not sure if these girls are in late veg or early flower…I’m sure there’s overlap but it’d be cool if they were like yo…I’m about to start stankin stankin lol. It seems that the cal-mag and slowing down in my feeding has really helped, but this is my first grow. What do I really know?! Anyway…pics cause why not…

I decided to add a little artsy pic cause I thought it was nice.

@hotrodharley @DoubleAtotheRON @Nope_49595933949 And anyone else…. Can you give a quick critique on my grow as well as some idea of where I am in the grow cycle…veg, later veg/early flower, flower and maybe a what to expect going forward? Thank you all.
Early flower. I'm new at this.but was told to switch to red/blue (purple spectrum) for a week or 2 and then go with only the red spectrum. (And the bright arse LEDs too of course.
I'm running a 24/0 once seedlings reach a few inches.
I know it's a bug debate with time cycles but it's working for me.
I could be 100% wrong. It's my first grow. 2 auto flowers (G13 indica) and 2 plants from the occasional seed I'd find in a premium or exotic. (Rare).

Buddy of mine is running auto flower girl scout cookies strain and they look AWESOME.

Use both switches. Especially in flower.

@DoubleAtotheRON @hotrodharley @Nope_49595933949 I meant to ask y’all if you minded that I’d tagged you in this post? Do you? And if so, I’ll not force you guys into this thread lol. I read a lot and your names stick out…not saying there aren’t others who are hella knowledgeable…
No problem. I’m scarce lately. Lots to do here getting ready for our week of summer.

Day 47/48 from sprout. I’m running about 77 degrees and 63% humidity. I’ve been running my t4 and s6 at level 5 as well as a stationary fan at medium speed for more air circulation with that humidity. I can’t get it down for the life of me. E99EBA27-C928-4BC9-99B9-3DA6C4C65CC7.jpeg
