Hello everyone,
first post here and a newbie grower from a nordic country. Got myself some tents to grow my own stuff since its so expensive where i live. Getting tired of pouring all that cash into a black market thats largely ran by ###holes. I also enjoy growing and has grown tomatoes and peppers and stuff like that so im not completely new to growing and this jump has been lurking in the back of my mind for many years now.
Anyways, now ive got 6 plants growing 7 weeks old and i start to feel like its time to start flowering this weekend but ive got some questions..
Ive topped them a few times and also given them some LST and supercropping-snaps to try it out. I ended up with bushes and my initial thought was to make a scrog but i quickly realized what a hassle that can be to reach and to inspect the plants and such when you are new so im just gonna go natural.
*But the secondary branches in the middle has been shaded so they arent that big, are they worth keeping or should i take them off before flowering to focus on the big ones?
* Also, the very top nodes has started shooting small branches, how will these develop in the stretch? (see the close up pic) I cant picture how they will look after the stretch is done, the image i get is quite wierd..
*Im not familiar with how much they grow during stretch, will all these plants fit or will i likely have to kill one or both of the smaller ones?
*I think i supercrop-failed some branches, there was no snap. I think they were too young and soft in the tissue. But these sites now has got like a semi-knuckle but most of them has cracked open along the stem so they got like holes inside.(EDIT: You can actually see one of the brown holes on the branch by the temp-wire) They seem to slowly be repaired though. Should i wait until they are all healed up before flowering or will they heal stuff like that during stretch aswell?
Sorry for the spam of questions but i feel pretty insecure about going into flowering
(the setup is temporary, im getting my ducting done to handle the 600W HPS)
