Alright so a friend of mine just informed me he would like to start a small grow in this attic-like/closet/crawl space behind his kitchen in his apartment. It's plenty big enough but the problem is there are no windows or vents for good air circulation (intake and outtake). There is a door that he could leave open but he has cats that can jump pretty high so we would have to install some sort of screen door.
My question is if we had just an oscillating fan in the room and opened the door for a few hours on a daily basis, would that be enough fresh air for the plant to grow? I know it is not ideal but I just was curious if it could survive in conditions like that at all.
Any help on this issue would be really appreciated. He can't cut any holes in the walls since he is just renting. He lives by himself though and his neighbors smoke too, so the smell shouldn't be an issue.
