New Grow--Question about Mold, fungus, or bacteria

I didn't get out my camera to take pics of the shit growing in my new grow.

I started 12 plants in Coco Coir under a tent. All I added was 1/4 strength Nutrients to fortify the Coco per the instructions on the bag.

Fast forward 4 days and now I'm seeing these white wispy spiderwebs on the top of the soil. The clones seem ok...but all this white stuff growing on my plants can't be good.

What can I do to kill it? I plan on watering with no nutes either this evening or tomorrow morning since the Coir is starting to dry out. Will Peroxide do the trick and how much do I need per 5 gal of water?

I had mold a few weeks back. Better circulation, ventilation, and humidity control solved my problems. (check humidity levels at night too)

As long as humidity stays 60% or lower and you have good circulation, you shouldn't have any problems. Of course, remove all dead plant matter. As far as the mold on your soil, it won't hurt your plants. Part of the biological makeup of the soil, forgot the technical name for it.

That's good to know...my humidity has stayed from 23-35% humidity for the 4 days I've had things running. I'm glad soil mold (or whatever it is) is benign. I am trying to find out about adding some Hydrogen peroxide once in a while. If you or someone knows how much to add per 5 gal water container, I would be happy to learn more about this.

On a side note--one time I grew Psilocybin Cubanisis mushrooms...what I saw on the soil of my starter plants looked like shroom mycelium...but this time I don't want to grow mushrooms :-)
