New grow problem

What’s up peeps? First time posting on the forum, but have used it many times. First grow I followed a recipe from the tube and went pretty well. Now I am using a recipe learned on one of the forums addressed to beginners. Currently my bag seed sfv og kush is droopy and different shades of green. I am not over watering, if anything Mayb a tab under watering.

current receipt in 7 gal fabric pots

33% peat moss
33% EWC/composted cow manure
33% lava rocks
1 cup- dolomite lime
4 cups- azomite
Mixed in-

1 cup- kelp meal
1 cup- dr. Earth tomato fertilizer
1 cup- neem meal
1 cup- alfalfa meal
1 cup- crab meal
1cup - fish bone meal- had left over from 1st grow

-I mixed all the amendments in a bag, and shook it until evenly mixed.
- I then added about 2 cups or 3 cups in my soil

My mix has a lot of nitrogen so I’m confused, and I also use R.O water filter.

any help would be appreciated, hoping to interact with members and become active member.

Stop with the RO water. It causes problems for lots of soil growers.

I know you're probably just trying to protect your microbes, but I think the RO water is doing more harm than good. Plants use the Calcium and Magnesium that's in regular water. They miss it when you use RO water. I think that the RO water actually pulls nutrients out of your plant's roots, only I need a citation for that info.

Agreed! If what I read is right, I shouldn’t have to worry about ph running organic soil and R.O water. Could have mis read tho. Appreciate input

Are the fans in the picture on and hitting the plant? Also what temps are you running? Was wondering if they might be suffering from a element exposure. I'm new so grain of salt with my question.

to me they just look thirsty as hell.
i agree with average. I dont really thing the RO will take food out of the roots/soil but RO is not what were looking for .... Its too clean and is unstable. you HAVE to add something to it to get a reading from it. But im also with average on that one....your ph will be fine as long as your soil is healthy. Healthy, living soil actually changes ph to accomadate whatever the roots want. Very symbolic relationship. A good soil grower can lose 3 or 5 years playing with ph for no reason. im one of them.

The big fan on the ground is actually off atm, currently jus have one small one on. Temps are running between 68-74 degrees/ humidity between 50-55

Appreciate the info, will do my research. I did water then they drooped even more but no picking back up

the purple stems are just a sign of slow growth. The newer , faster growing ones will stay green usually. Shes ok but she wants something an i cant see what it is? Use regular water twice in a row and see how she acts. Or how about putting some molasses in the ro water to stablize it. RO water is wild , its so pure that its literally reaching out to find more ions. Food is the ions were used to giving it but if your using it straight , then try to add some molasses to it.

Ohh I see, thanks for the feedback. My next two watering will be from the tap and I’ll report back. I actually used molasses and R.O water when it was droopy and it picked back up. Do you suggest using the tap for 2 watering or use R.O water and molasses?

go with ro an molasses to keep you on schedule. you may need to buy a bottle of micro nutes to add with it too but the molassas should have plenty of cal-mag and iron. (I always use tap, im not for or against it)

Appreciate the feedback. I ended up giving it R.O water with molasses and seaweed extract, it seems to be helping. The color on the fan leaves seem to be turning back to one solid color green.

SFV OG likes cal mag. the recipe did not add any epsom salt. Try adding 15ml per gal of epsom salt. it is the mag the plant is searching for. Also purple stems are from a lack of P, add some guano with high P content about 15ml per gallon. However purple stems is a OG trait. But you can reduce it by adding the P
Molasses has a mag content

Epsom salt has No Ca, just Mg and S (sulfur). Purple stems are a sign of P deficiency, but sometimes it can be genetics also. Cold temps can do it too, since cold temps make it difficult for the plant to access the P.
