I told you all I have some exciting news. Well, I know a few people who breed and have created new strains of bud. They know I grew before, and seen my results and whatnot.
Anyways, they are going to be making a new strain. I can't say the name of the strain. Can't say who they are, Not sure when it will be done.
Here is the news, I have been chosen to grow, and refine the strain. There is alot of work in making a new strain stable, and as potent as possible. Thats why you can't just cross one with another and win the cannabis cup. So, I have been chosen to Refine this strain. Obviously I can't say what are strains are going to be making the new one.
Once it has been Refined, and they are happy with the results everything will be released. They hope this strain becomes one that many seed banks carry's. Even I don't know what 2 strains will be used to make the new one yet. So, If this strain makes it, I will be given credit as one of the people who took part in making this new strain.
Its very exciting for me. Now, this is what I am trying to do for you guys. I want to see if they will let me do a journal while I make this new strain. Just leave out the details, as what genetics, ect. I want to see if they will let me take pictures as I grow and refine this strain.
If they say no pictures, I want to see if I can at least post a verbal journal of whats going on with the development of this new bud.
Now, I cant promise they will let me. Because they are making something new, and it wont be realeased for much time to come. They probably want to keep everything confidential as in what the plant looks like, What the finished buds look like. Because if people get to see the plants of the parents, some people can get a idea of what is being used to make this new strain. And they probably dont want that information out, because then others can take credit for the strain, and refine it on there own.
But, I will see what I can do. They might allow me to make a non pictured journal.
This is very interesting for me. That they decided to ask me to help, and that I can be a part of making a new strain that could be a top strain in the future if done correctly. And it would be really cool if you guys had front seats to the start of this new strain.
So I can't promise you anything. But I will do my best, and I will grow my best.
I thought at least it be cool to let you guys know a new strain is in development. Well the idea is there, the process is started, and soon it will be in the development stage.
