Yeah I ran into the same humidity problem.. the hotter it got outside, the more I had to crank the AC... the more I had to crank the AC, the more the humidity went up.... it was at like 60% day 50 flower so I went ahead and bought a dehumidifier...

funny thing is... lowes...sears...home depot.... NONE of them carried dehumidifiers! I had to buy it online and have it shipped....
Exact same thing happened to me - nowhere in town had a dehumidifier...except for one grow store. Who of course charged me an arm and a leg for it. Whatever, I paid for the convenience of having it immediately I guess.

Wow......nice tight setup, nice healthy plants. Good job. Keep 'em green like that and it'll be one hell of a crop.
Thanks man! That's what were hoping for! bongsmilie

Yeah, I called EVERY hydro store in the area... no one had any, but one store... and they only had 'commercial' hehumidifiers  $600 and up! fuck that. Home depot.com $200 shipped.... took like 7 business days though

I dump out like a gallon of water a day I swear....

Yeah man. Mine is a 20 liter dehumidifier. After it's first 12 hour dark period running the whole time, it was completely full. I am kind of surprised it's pulling THAT much water out of the air. Guess I know it's doing it's job tho! :joint:

Damn bro. I hate u had to add that to ur jungle. I kno its too late I'm just wondering, could u have just bought a bigger exhaust or intake fan to help keep the temps and humid air out and save some$? I'm just wondering in case I ever have that problem and have no clue if thatd work. everything looks bangin tho that's for sure.

NF: I guess I could have gone that route, but honestly re-doing ducting and shit right now just doesn't sound appealing. I didn't even really give it much thought, just got the dehumidifier. Plus like Verde said, will be nice for drying.

Anyways, things are coming along nicely. Not much to report. I gave them they're first full dose of bloom nutes last night. Fed with 2 tsp per gallon Tiger bloom, 1/4 tsp per gallon Open Sesame, and 1 Tbsp per gallon Big bloom. Pretty much following the fox farm schedule to a T. Every other watering is plain ph adj water. The ladies seem to be loving it!

Looks like I will just be having to run my dehumidifier during the dark periods, which will be nice for my temps during lights on. But yeah. Come on buds!! :weed:

Well, Girls had better stop they're stretching soon. I've got about 3 more clicks to raise my light on the taller side of the garden. I could also just ditch my light hanger pulley things and just hang the lamp from the hooks in the ceiling. That would give me a few more inches. Beyond that though, I might be shit out of luck. Not to sure what I'll do if they continue to grow beyond that.

The shorter plants are going to be fine. Nevertheless though, I definitely grew these babies to tall to be working with 600 watt lights. To go along with that, the stakes I had put in aren't really going to be of much use seeing as how the plants are now pretty much twice the size of them. I measured tonight, and the tallest ladies have broken 4 feet...from the dirt. 5 feet from the floor. 52 inches was the tallest. I am probably going to have to end up tie-ing a bunch of branches up to random hooks in the wall etc. Place might look like a spider web come harvest time. We shall see. Could have worse problems I suppose.... bongsmilie

Shorter half:

Shot from down below:

Everyday I am constantly doing grooming to the bottoms. Lots of it does need to go, but at the same time I am just not sure how much is to much..

Hell yea u did lol. Damn man 5 ft from the floor!!! That is insane bro. I like how u trimmed some of the lower growth on there. Definitely should help ur buds. Have u thought about maybe super cropping a the tallest of the taller ones and itd at least give u a lil more room for stretch. At least u could tie em down and they'd stretch sideways or somethin of that sort. Regardless I kno it'll be a sensational harvest and the strains sound killer. Ur a hell of a grower bro. EDIT: just thought about that short bus. Its gonna make u retarded lmao. I couldn't resist.

Your doing it good... In veg you can take a lot and watch the plant work off the stress in a day or two and be back at full power... you can't do that so much in flower

In flower taking like 3-5 fans every once in a while with normal sized stems wont STRESS it bad enough to do any damage...

SO yeah watch your plants, when they are reaching for the light they are happy, when the tips of the leaves droop down like theres weights on them they are NOT happy and you need to correct what your doing.

But no, everything looks good dude!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Hopefully the ladies start fattening up soon!

NF - I use a little bubble cloner that I made myself. Just a plastic tub, airstones and pump, neoprene discs, and a humidity dome. Works great!
