new grow 250wt hps

i all as been a while since i came to the forum moving to new house takes some time i was doing a nirvana mysteryseeds and some white widow under cfl and all went well know i moved to hps.
i have a tent 1.20mt*1.20mt*2mt with a 250 hps inside i know the lamp is to small for the place but not all the tent is been used for growing.
got a good extractor cleans the air inside in less then a minute
the medium is biobizz soil and hesi nutrients
i have a oscillating fan inside and one pulling air in.
ill add photos soon.

im dumb i add the thermometer right in front of the light about 1 feet gonna put it in a corner to check the temps know.

by the way were should we check the temps right at the top of the canopy or in the middle of the room?

ok so i put the thermometer on the shade middle of the room and the temps stay at 90f° with lights on and of give or take a degree. is that ok or its to hot?

hoo nobody says nothing i know the optimal temps i just dont know the max i can go to its summer and its freaking hot outside.

heres some pics of the tent and my setup ill put more plants in there still in veg and clones section ill include some pics of them to.

Hey there ! I,m doing a 250 w grow as well and I have the same grow space as you ! Yes 90 f is too hott , the plants suffer damage above 85 f . I see your reflector is open air . This could be the cause of your heat problem . I,m running a air cooled hood . Mine is set up in the garage but I,m at 5,800 ft above sea level with low humidity .I tryed to run my light without cooling it with no success .TEmps outside was 85-90 and matched that in the room.After venting it I<m able to maintain temps between 70-85 running the lights at night.

today i maned to get temps below 90f but barely the max of the day was 89f im gonna buy a small fan to get more air movement the only other solution im seeing is to get a air conditioner.

and i live at sea level with outside temps of 91f(night) to 102f(day) with 60% humidity or more
