This is my latest attempt at recycling other people's crap and building awesome flowering lamps. The abomination draws 170 Watts. There's two Cree cxb one on either end driven at 1500 milliamps drawing 65 w each. They're sitting on an Arctic 11 heatsink cooled off sharing an apv-12-12.
The center is where I wanted to make a change. Normally there's a gigantic hot spot in most of the cob arrays that I create. This time I put a softly driven Vero 29 drawing 37 watts It's getting 900 milliamps from a chanson driver from Amazon.
I have it hanging next to a spider farmer 200 watt board and the two are filling a good half of the 4x4 with the six plants shown. Ppfd on an app using the phone is well over a thousand at somewhere near 10 in above canopy height.
I'm very surprised how even Par is across the canopy under the two lamps, they couldn't be any different but they both create an amazing flowering cube to grow into. I'm very excited to see how it does as I'm well aware of what the spider farmer is capable of, should be a lot of fun to benchmark next to.
Feel free to chime in, you guys have helped me a lot through the years.
