8/11 is the super moon (new moon) also the first night longer than 10 hrs. Pretty sure this will kick off the best time of the year !
Hell yes. I am expecting everything to be in flower right after that. Last year it was around the 12 or 13 of August that I hit full on flower. So pumped to see how these plants develop. I'm hoping all my topping and training and pruning will pay off!

I might even try smoking some this year...

Anyone ever deal with these fellas? I got Great Black Wasps nesting 2 ft from my plants.

Not sure how "Great" I feel about it...since they are like 1.5 inches long...

My wife said they are pollinators and eat catapillars and stuff, so to be thankful and leave them alone.

Looking good. I'm doing good so far I think. Only problem is they wont stop drinking. They would take a gallon and a half a day if I let them. In 5 gallon smart pots. Letting them dry completely before watering, but complete dry is taking 1 day after total wet. Its mental.

Mud Daubers. 8 on a scale of 10. Relative of the Tarantula Hawk which is 10 on a scale of 10.
Not aggressive. Unless you are watering her nest, sorry. Will carry off every caterpillar or grub around.
Bald Face Hornet- 4/10
Yellow Jacket- 2/10
Honey Bee- 1/10
Bullet Ant is 12/10.

Put 3 more young plants out. 5 week old Blue Cheese for the porch patch, and bent the Panama Powerhouse units down 45 deg., those are bushy as hell. The Critical+ autos were finishing indoors (after outside ran out of room) had spider mites.

I'm lax on pest/nute mgmt and saw where this was going...again.
Broke Indoor/outdoor rule #1 again, they were all staggered autos and hopeless to save. I was scoping a leaf and one ran under in perfect National Geographic focus and looked up, it was horrible.

  • Chopped, quarantined, sterilized Tent 1 crop, and everything in it.
  • booted Tent 2 - 3 unsexed Blue Cheese and moved 5 baby skunks to a popup tent for 2 week veg and quarrantine.
  • Do it again and fire up, The Blue Cheese is going to have to grow up a couple weeks earlier, and I'll be eating Canna+ cookies
  • Hopefully, the baby Skunks are clean.
I have no idea what finish time on anything is this year. I'm sure it's going to involve hay bales and space heaters, so stay tuned for an entertaining finish for me.

Haha, good smoke this morning Larry, a good cut indeed.
I had just posted a live version of the song on one of the music threads, and didn't like it once I heard more of it. So I thought I was still on that thread.

And I did smoke the first of the popcorn that got left on the Ass Cheese Blues a week longer than the rest. Not too bad.
