new dwc cooling idea... will it work

So ive been researching and reading for a while now about cooling my res.... so i stumbled across this idea...i read about running the hose into a fridge and back into the res but i only have a small res? that little thing you linked to wouldn't work. but you bring up something that would. instead of buying an expensive chiller you could buy a small used bar fridge and run your line through that.

lol, sure it will cool your rez, the question is will it be to a measurable level, maybe a small fraction of 1 degree in cooling. I just put my air pump in the garage, it's pretty damn cold in there.

Options:
1. Air pump if cold outside (don't try to use air if you use a freezer solution)
2. Water pump pumping water (or coolant with coil in bucket) to coil/radiator in fridge/freezer/outside if cold. (if fridge/freezer, note it will most likely be unfit for food storage with the temp swings)
3. Drain to waste cooling (use cool tap water temp running at slow rate through a coil to cool the res, water is continuously being wasted. )
4. Buy an actual chiller
