so i went down to the my favorite gardening store to get sum purple basil plants (i like to grow more than just cannabis) an they happen to have the new dr.earth homegrown potting soil out on the market, im thinkin of givin this soil a test run i like dr.earth's products and have been using them for years

DR.Earth's homegrown potting soil:
forest humus, fir bark, peat moss, pumice, bat guano, earthworm castings, kelp meal, soybean meal, concentrated seaweed extract, aloe vera, yucca extract, oyster shell & dolomite lime, benifical soil microbes, ecto and endo mycorrhizae

so basically its the base mix ud want to add to ur compost, my own mix is similiar to this but not exact so im gonna give it a shot and run a side by side trial and see how the new potting soil is

anybody heard of this new product? anyone tried it out yet?

I used it awhile back and was not impressed. Certainly not good for small plants. I'll stick with pro mix, worm castings, cow shit, guanos, lime. Just me though!

Don't waste your time. Dr. Earth is horrible. Ive used the orange bag potting soil amd the black bag medical soil. Both are horrible. Aside from mor gnats than you ever seen in your life. You will have nitrogen, magnesium, calcium deficiencies in the 2nd week of veg. Ive used everything, dr. Earth, fox farm, empire, canna, mg, and roots organic. Empire being the worst, close to dr. Earth . Roots organic original is my fav. It doesnt have to be cut at all. Already has alot of chunky perlite in it.its cheaper than the rest.

I support Dr Earth products. Here is a Diablo OG I have ready to flip to flower. Dr Soil, Dry Amendments, and Worm tea were used.

k folks my report on the dr.earth black bag, good hot mix for outdoor but if used for indoor you will not need to add any liquid nutrients thats where u will start gettin ur deficiencies, the black bag is more for a tlo growing style and besides a compost tea with sum molasses there wil be no need for any liquid nutrients, thats my experience with that product anyway
