So the time has come to move my small garden indoors for the next round, but I am tight on space. I took this metal rack I and set it up inside the closet and slapped the MarsHydro right on top of it, as hanging it would cause it to be too close to the canopy. I plan on LSTing the plants (only do 3 or 4 max in there). I am just worried that the light will cause too much heat (or who knows what else) being right up against the metal rack. I placed it accordingly so the LEDs are in between the bars and not directly on them.
What do you think? Am I okay? I have had the setup for about an hour and temps are at 80 degrees F. Just worried, again, about the light directly pressed against the rack. I will see results or issues, I'm sure, in the next few days but I thought I'd ask. Maybe someone's ran across this before.
