may i be so free and spank you a bit?;)

clear drinking cubs, tin foil... and you don't need mylar at all, get some white flat paint and you are fine, mylar as well as tin foil can create heatspots, mylar has to be glued flat to the wall, painting is cheaper and easier;)
if you go shopping tomorrow, get some decent planting cubs rather;)

and what lights do you use, soil, do you pH everything, you know the kind of stuff we going to ask you, or;)

besides that, your plants are stretched, i gone call up the cannabis people on you for cruelty on cannabis;) move those lights down or closer and dig your plant a bit more into the soil so only the head of it gone show.

lol cruilty lol hey thats why am here tho i knwo i was doing stuff wrong and now i know hey the clear cups i read in the faqs that it doesnt matter somthign about being able to see your roots so should i switch it up to non-clear? and yea ill paint they walls white i might have some paint in the house actually since my step father paints....but ok ama dig that hole and just leave the head out like you said thanks alot anything else would be reall helpfull:neutral:

those clear ones post several problems, on is that they are clear and light harms roots, that is a fact. next is that those cubs got no proper drainage floor nor do the have proper drain hole i guess. so this is leading to root rot sooner or later.
with those plant and the stretching, get some new decent pots for them, that are a few cents per pot. pant them into the new pots low and fill the pot to the rim with soil. by the way, what soil do you use there?

with the paint, watch out that this is flat white and not glossy paint, that is just as bad as tin foil.

alright thanks they do got hole on the bottom that i made but ill buy the pots and the paint and am using this soil my mom uses for her tomatoe plants forgot what kinda soil it is but its real expensive she says its good for all plants

Who's fact..Ive been growing in clear containers for a year and the clear cintainers for some reason produce better yields..granite this plant is a bit stretched but is kicking ass. Wheres the damage?
this is on the perimeter of my main light 600 hps

It does matter what kinda soils you use..you want soils that will exspell it's factory nutes by the time you want to flower..You dont want a 90 day fert..30 day's top..most wally world or home desparate soils are made for the average gardener..your not one of these

so what kind of soil do i need which are my top 3 choices or what am i looking for a few things am looking for in soil..also i just bought this new bulb 120 watts made for indoor lighitng realllll bright bought it at homedepot for about 8 bucks and am remodiling my garden box ama make it out of dry walla nd paint the walls with flat white paint it'll be easier to paint and stuff bt ill post pictures when i build it..its going to be kick ass...and one more thing any books on growing my firend is growing and he bought this book somthign like the marikuana growing bible but hes shady and doesnt want to share where he bought it any books liek that at borders or somthing? so go wiht clear or change i boguht some peat pots thingy they look kinda too small what do you guys think???thanks in advanced....

These kinds of forums are way better than any book you can buy. On these forums you get multiple points of view instead of by one author.

Yeh grow books are alright when you start so you have an idea, but in the end this website will make you the better grower.

Soils you should look for. Organics soil, or soils containing no added fertilzers. This way you can add your own, and you know what your adding. When they contain slow release ferts, after a month you dont know whats sitll in the soil. Also if it slow releases for to long, it wil still be giving off nutes when you harvest. And you dont want to smoke fertilizers.

Get lights closer so they dont stretch anymore, also try and get a small fan to blow on them, strengthen up your stems.

Goodluck buddy : )

man thanks alot ama up grade myu box totally am excited right now i may get rid of my plants and strat over we'll see but thanks ama forget the book and just bug the hell out of you guys with questions if i dont find them in the faqs
