New Bong and Oil-Dome

Got this bong recently and Research kitty was kind enough to make me a matching oil dome.

Went out and bought the other pieces today and was doing hash dabs by dinner! thanks again ResearchKitty!!

That Inline Bong is sexy! Is it from a local artist or is it a name brand?
And the dome is awesome too! RK's stuff always is!
 
The bong itself was actually purchased at a convince store that carry's a bunch of smoke stuff. Its actually quite extensive for a convince store. It has to be some kind of Indian glass or something. I have purchased a few pieces of glass from there, my first stemless bong was bought there. You can tell some flaws in the glass. Obviously the people making these bongs are just doing it for the money and have no interest on the physics of them and how they hit.
so some of them just dont work as good as they should. But for the price i cant complain, the bong itself cost $190 with a matching slide. Im pretty sure i bought most expensive bong there, they have alot of cool higher priced bongs. Next on my wishlist is a shower head bubbler or mini bong to use as a strictly hash piece
 
damn that thing is sick! i got my dome recently from RK and love it! im probably about to use it haha they match pretty much perfectly i was about to ask if he made the bong haha but i read a few post up about the convienent store.

I'm hoping your serious lol. The thingy madjigy is an oil dome, for smoking concentrated mary jane. It consists of a "nail," which is placed into a male glass joint and a glass oil dome with female glass joint goes over it. The "nail" is heated up, usually with a torch, the oil dome is placed on top of the nail and you place the concentrate onto the nail, sometimes with a glass dabber. The smoke goes threw the "fins" or cutouts in the nail usually and then threw your bong. Again, hopefully your serious and I didn't waste my time writing that lol. Glass and Quartz nails work a bit different I think, they don't have the fins they just sit higher up I think. Taking an educated guess here.

Yeah, guys, don't worry about him. Every time this guy posts, he sounds like a fucking retard. I've never seen one post of his that made sense. But thats a nice looking bong man. I like the oil dome. You should get a titanium nail if you don't have one yet. I have a titanium dabber and nail and it's awesome.

How is a Ti nail attached to the glass? Can anybody point me to a 'step by step' tutorial on how to make such things.

the nail is not attached to the glass, it has a "bushing" about half way down the shaft of the nail with small slits in it to allow air to flow through. The nail sits on a male connector and when you smoke your hash it gets pulled through the little slits and into your bong. Look up some Google images if you still dont understand. I know it took me a while to understand it until i went to the local head shop and i was like how does the nail stay in there and hes like it just sits in there its not connected to anything.
