New Beginnings for Massachussetts and I

Looking frosty, Crisis- are those WW photo or autos? The buzz I'm getting from mine(uncured) is awesome. Very smooth, burns clean, and no choke(flushing worked) comes on subtle ,then whacks you in the head like a warm mop LOL. Very energetic- no couch lock. Will definetly do these again
My WW and her northern lights sisters are 60 day old autos. She is the runt of the litter at 23" but she looks over 1/2 bud and still has like 1 - 3 weeks left.

Good day for crop management- just hope I don't lose power- but have generator just in case- big trees, high wind, and heavy snow do not bode well. More popcorn to trim and jar and feed and water time. Good day for a dose of Cannabutter and hunker down-off work for 2 days-good timing. Hope all are well out there
Here in Colorado a 2' snowstorm is no big deal; plows are on the roads during the storm and hit side streets as soon as it stops. It's considered cool to have a 4x4 truck or all wheel drive Subaru and even that's not really necessary. We generally end up with more powder and less ice than y'all, which helps.

It's been windy lately, gusts into the 70s. Again, not unusual and building codes have long reflected this fact.

What's unsettling is that such precautions have been needed less and less in recent years. Northern Colorado's climate has come to resemble the northern New Mexico of my childhood.

Snow itself isn't a real issue, though snow disposal from city streets causes headaches. They will have most roads open pretty much throughout the storm. You don't want to be driving, but roads will be open.

The issue is ice. It knocks trees down onto power lines and then it can take days (or more) to get power restored.

It's blowing pretty hard where I am. White out conditions out my window. But it's supposed to start changing over to ice, at least to the south and east. Should create headaches.

They will continue stretching-My WW hit harvest at 81 days so I would say your 3 week est. is closer- checking trics made me BATTY LOL- kept wanting to see milky, but def. do not cut too soon- then get ready for the real work- trim took 2 1/2 days, then dry, then snip, then jar, then burp daily for week or 2.Went into panic mode after hanging- smelled like fresh cut alfalfa!! No worries- after putting in cure with Bovida paks, Dank smell comes back( hay smell is chlorofill breaking down)

When I lived outside Colorado Spgs.(late 70's) we would get crazy winds(70-80mph) and with sand down on roads would sandblast windshields and paint, not to mention insane windchills(-60) - Green Mtn. Falls @ 9200 ft. not unusual.

You'd be amazed how much the weather has changed since then.

Was your ww an indica leaning or sativa leaning hybrid? I've heard they can run 10-12 weeks in flower, and the ones I'm growing took a long time in veg, but they are very indica in appearance/behavior. I'm wondering if that will mean a shorter flower time.......

This is an open question for all my Baystate neighbors ...
I have a some single freebies both feminized and regular that I'm most likely never going to get to. I'll be happy to donate them to anyone that wants to germinate and clone them for the group if they turn out to be worth keeping around.

TH Seeds Bubblegum F
HSO Chocolate Mint OG F
Barney's Farm Critical Kush AUTO
Dinafem Strawberry Amnesia F
Dinafem Critical Cheese F
Dinafem Big Kush F
Bomb Seeds THC Bomb R
G13 Lab Seeds Blueberry Gum F
Delicious Seeds Honeybells F

I have to check the 'fridge for the rest but let me know if any of these might be of interest.
If i knew what I was doing...ha ha....I would have loved to take some and clone for the group. got my hands full with my new unsprouted hubbabubba and ww auto. who by the way did perk up after a water and higher temps. After being afraid of trying LST i am glad I did. all the little leaves underneath are exploding, cant keep her down! :-)

And she would not f it weren't an auto
yeah, afraid to top my auto and stunt growth. OMG, need help. I see one leaf curling inward like a taco, and a few curling down. Is this heat stress? I got her temp up from yesterdays 69 to 78 today...maybe its to high. Humidity 40. Have a non oscillating fan on her, but rotate her.
Mommy's stressing!

My daytime temps are 77-82 with my 1000w hps. Humidity 34-55.

It may be a watering issue. Something you may want to look at is a sip system. My plants love me for it. I haven't had a wilted leaf since I started it.

First thing you need is a tray. My tray is a long flat bin. It is about 45 inches long 20 inches wide and 6 inches deep. You can use anything even a cat litter box. More water it holds the longer you can go without watering it. Then you fill it with perlite. If you have fabric pots you can just place them on top of the perlite. The important part is to never fill the water more than an inch below the pot. I use a cut off water bottle with no perlite in it to fill the tray and see the water level to the bottom. If you are using a solid pot you will need to put cloth into the holes of the bottom of the pot for the wicking action.

You will also want to take the pots off the tray for putting in nutrients. Wait till they stop running off to put them back on the tray. With 10 gallon pots the water only goes up about halfway so younger plants will need a smaller pot. Sometimes you will see roots coming out of the pots and into the perlite but it has never been an issue for me, they just die off.

If you don't want issues with alge, line and cover it with black landscaping fabric.

I learned it here https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?threadid=258370

What do you guys think about this for a exhaust controller? Heat and humidity controller for the tent, think it would work alright? Just wanted to get something so my exhaust isnt constantly running, itll either turn the fan on from high heat or high humidity and keep both in a better range when lights go out

My daytime temps have been around 73, everytime i have to back my light off temps drop and humidity rises, without backing my light off this is what happens when the light is too close from light oversaturation, looks like overwatering right? exactly what i thought too, well its not, that plant hasnt been watered in over a week and is bone dry, soggy looking leaves, hard curling, leaves were actually trying to get away from the light to protect itself, could be whats happening with yours, it looks similar to what mine started to look like at first then it just got worse until i raised the light again
