this works great on fabric/cloth pots. it sticks to itself to wrap around branch, then sticks to the cloth pot to hold branch down. can be pulled off and secured tighter as LST becomes more intense. It worked great on my first grow attempt...which, sad to say, ended in an un-timely tragic death due to my cat.Cloth pots offer an interesting challenge for LST. Tried attaching the pipe cleaners to plant markers in the soil last night, but they weren't resistant enough. Today, I'm trying a new approach. Instead of trying to tie the tops down, I'm hanging weights off them ... starting out with 17 grams. It's keeping them bent but will rise with the plant's growth and not cause a split. At day 44 from seed, the plants are finally starting to show daily development. I will probably add a 2nd set of LST ties at 90 degrees from the current ones within a day or 2 to open up even more nodes. I'm finally starting to feel like I'll get to my desired pre-flower height of 14-16" by the end of next week. These should at least double during stretch so that should give me a really nice scrog canopy. I'm going to clone all 5 so I can reproduce any good phenos but I still don't have any cloneable branches.
I'll post more photos later today of the weights prove to be sufficient.
