New ballast I got while in ohio

So i drive over to ohio often with family being there and I usually stop into one of my favorite stores and found this new ballast that is exclusive to their stores.

It's a Nanolux 1000 watt ballast that has ability to dim it at the press of a button which i found nice but the biggest draw to me was that it removes the need for a flip relay. I saw it setup in the store where they had it showing how a timer runs two lights with just this one ballast. I plan on setting up another grow tent beside the one i already have so it got my interest and i bought one from them. Can not wait to try this thing out for myself but i figured i would pass the information around for everyone to see as well.

They are selling it on ebay, amazon and their own online store and of course in their stores Gardening-Indoor . if anyone is interested, I'll also come back with pictures and info after i get it all set up

Well I like them. I can't say anything negative. comes with mh and hps bulbs. Got built in fans doesn't get above 90degrees. Its also dimmable and doesn't seem to effect my cable or radio at all...so I think its a good cheap product. Probly not the best but I'll get another when I buy again....

wow, thats pretty cool. although i'll still build my own flip box's/light controllers. im not a fan of anything that has stuff built in. if one part fails, then the whole thing is down. but fpr the non diy'er its a cool product.

Thanks for the post and the links man. Just purchased from ebay, talk about a great price and a great product. Nanolux is a superior ballast and to find it to close to the cost of iPower (or bulb exploders as I like to call them) is awesome!

I'm running a 1000 Watt Nanolux ballast to an IPower 1000w HPS and loving the results. The ballast it ultra quiet and doesn't get Half as warm as my Apollo ballast and that was only 600watts.
