So my water was 5.0 before nutes and when I added bite it went into the 4.6 range. I'm surprised my plants lived this long. Ph water from now on, thanks I'll update on how they look after a week or soJust here to help bro..
Oh yeah I got the kit with ph up and down, got it to 6.5So you didn't use ph up at all? Do you have ph buffers in you're soil like dolamyte lime?? Bcuz i have dolamyte lime and i was wondering if I need to still adjust the ph if i have ph buffer in soil (dolamyte lime )
yes you still need lime and also ph your water feed.So you didn't use ph up at all? Do you have ph buffers in you're soil like dolamyte lime?? Bcuz i have dolamyte lime and i was wondering if I need to still adjust the ph if i have ph buffer in soil (dolamyte lime )
Im considering using diamatacious earth doing a lil bit of research but my unanswered question is will it dissolve in my soil i plan to just top coat it around my whole soil my problem is im using nutrients i was wondering will it dissolve have you ever used this Product?? (D.E.)For the gnats I would use grow stone gnat nix they are cheap and I've heard good things from them. They are made from recycled glass and they are extremely porous so they can be mixed in with soil too.But for the gnats put a 2 inch layer of the glass on top of the soil they basically stop the eggs from hatching and stop any burrowers. Also you should buy some tangle foot and rub it all over any yellow paper the gnats love to get stuck o that stuff. There is also food grade diatomaceous earth and beneficial nematodes. I used beneficial nematodes and I have no gnats. But they are expensive so i would go with tangle foot traps and grow stone gnat nix. All this can be bought off amazon too . Good luck on your grow. Oh and btw how do I subscribe to a thread? I'm still a newbie.
Yea eventually it will dissolve into your soil so if your worried about that then use grow stone.Im considering using diamatacious earth doing a lil bit of research but my unanswered question is will it dissolve in my soil i plan to just top coat it around my whole soil my problem is im using nutrients i was wondering will it dissolve have you ever used this Product?? No, Growstone is made from recycled glass that's all it is. check out the reviews on amazon people seem to love it. DE contains a lot of silica and other trace minerals like calcium, magnesium iron born ect. so if I were you i would go with grow stone and the yellow sticky traps. and if you can afford it beneficial nematodes. Is grow stone the same thing and will D.E.effect my plants if i use it because I'm using nutrients
