Appreciate the advice. The 90 percent loss was because I grew outdoors and couldn’t control environment or who finds them or animals. This is why I’m trying to learn to do it inside.
Yes...environment...you need the right environment for each stage. Pretty important.

Yes you can. Especially when it is a small plants in a large pot. Once the root system fills out it’s much harder, but until then it will stun the plants and eventually start causing health issues.
Yes you can overwater seedlings. Once their root structure is in you can't, sorry for not being explicit.

I use the 20 dollar kit. Fill vial half way. Put 4 drops in and compare color to cart. Usually have to ph down. I test ph before and after nutrient to be sure. I only let plain water in bucket sit out to let any chlorine evaporate out and so water isn’t so cold. I’ll look at a meter today if it’s reasonable enough I’ll get it.
If you're going to do hydro this will make your life more accurate and easier.

I have a Bluelab but I've bought two of these ^^ and one is still kicking.

I too am a new grower and finishing up my first grow and went with a 3 x 3 that I got last year in sale. I managed to fit 4 x 5 gl pots into it doing some lst. With some lst and a trellis net you can probably fit 5 or even 6 but you have really good circulation and the rest of the conditions on check. If you don't size to 3 gl you may get away with 7 or 8. But without pushing the variables to the extreme 6 x 3 gl or 4 x 5 gl (you can grow them to a good size).

My hydro shop is cheaper than Amazon for everything. Even @J232 shops there and he lives in a different province lol.
Hell yeah, amazon for some stuff can be cheaper only because of free shipping but it’s usually my last choice when it comes to supplies of any type.

When it comes to stuff like soil/coco orders they jack up the price to cover free shipping. It's not really free.

Oh ok, so 29cad for 50L of canna coco with free shipping over 89 bucks is overpriced... show me cheaper in Canada, doing a order in about a hour, I will wait..
