New and i need help bad

IM GROWING IN SOIL. USING A 400 WATT HPS LIGHT...I GOT 5 MAMACITAS ABOUT TWO FEET TALL, IN MY CLOSET THE ONLY PROBLEM IS MY CLOSET KEEPS GETTING LIKE 85 DEGREES SO EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE I HAVE TO OPEN THE DOOR TO KEEP THE TEMP. DOWN A BIT...I DONT HAVE ANY FANS OR FILTERS...THATS WHERE I NEED HELP AT IM NOT QUITE SURE HOW TO PUT WHAT AND WHAT TOGETHER...MY HOOD DOESNT HAVE ANY DUCTING HOLES...LIKE I SAID IM NEW IM ACTUALLY SURPRISED MY LADIES HAVE GOTTEN THIS FAR WITHOUT THE PROPER EQUIPMENT

Ok homie i'll try to assist.. been so long.. ahh..... ok.. fans a must. both for circulation and for ur light.. i.e house fan and duct fan... the house fan will circulate the air and make ur plants stem and branches stronger.. i'm a hydro man so soil i never had to worry about. but u will need to change soil and pots as plants grows. potting soil is to be use on the early stages..ahhh..hmmm i think ur good with co2. ahh. make sure ur ph stays at 6.5-7 and get some sort of cool air in there because ur trying to mimic the outside growing conditions..hence the plant blooms in the fall when the light shortens and the temp drops.. by the way i'm noy sure how tall ur closet space is but i would start to bloom now if ur plant is 2 ft tall.. u don't want ur plant too close to the light it will be to hot ant burn .. but then again ur growing wit a 400 ..lol .thats funny..ok ah that's it for now.. i can't believe i remembered that much..lol

Chudude. Start looking for inline fans to bring in fresh air from either outside or another room. U also have to extract the hot air out. This is a must. as u know it gets hot as fuck if u dont have these two key elements. Keep growing keep burning.

just place a carbon filter wit a in line fan that is powerful enough to xchange the air in your room 2x a minute... that should drop your temps for sure and eliminate smell. but 85 really is not that hot..

Thanks for the HELP dudes... But since my hood doesn't have any ducting hole how exactly do put the fan and the filter together...do i keep the inside the closet or outside.should i run the filter to the attic... Do you guys know an easy way to build a carbon filter cuz im broke

u dont need to run it through your hoods... u attach the fan to the filter so it is sucking air through the filter and exhausting it through your ducting out of the room .. just make sur u have cold air comin to the room...

I know you stated your broke, but here is a 4" inline fan and filter for $120, I have the 6 inch with the fan pulling from my tent into the filter, this way I can hook multiple tents up to one fan and filter. you can keep the fan and filter in the attic and run the ducting to the room if it isn't that far, or you can put both the fan and filter in the room and run the ducting to the attic, either will work

Closets are challenging for that exact reason! When I USED to grow I preferred a basement but if I were limited to such a small space here's what I would do: Are you up stairs? Is it possible to put a small hole in the ceiling of the closet and use a small fan to suck air out. I would also place a small fan at the bottom of the closet aimed upward to help exchange your co2 around the plants and create a draft so that smell is pulled out the room as well. This too helps with the stability (makes the stem stronger).You have got to control that temp!!!!!!!! 85 degrees it far too high. This stresses the plant and causes your growth to slow and affects how well the plant produces. If possible get a hole 6 to 8 inches in diameter and see if this gets your temp down 4 or 5 degrees. sugar water and active dry yeast, will make co2 and the plants will like the 85 degree temp.
