New and confused !

im new to this so im trying to figure out whatg to use.im running rdwc for 2-3 plants(not auto-flower) with. I have green emerald micro grow bloom, and general hydroponics grow micro bloom., Not sure which one to use yet. im not exactly sure how this is suppose to work. What all do i add , other than the 3 part nutrients, ive been reading and it sounds like i need to add hydroguard or uc roots , do i add this every time i top off res? do i top off res with just plain water or nutrient/ucroot and/or hydroguard mix? and also i read im supposed to use calmag also? same with this one do i add every time? i got a good quality ph pen and tds/ec meter im just a little confused to how this all comes together.

You need calmag for sure! Theese ladies love calmag!!! Make sure your ph is aorund 6! I think what you said is great! Dont over feed them try with very little at the beginning and if you see any deficiencies add more if its toxicity just add normal ph balanced water for once to flush the soil.Good luck brother!✌✌

Check out my post “adding grow to Lucas formula” @rkymtnman and @Airwalker16 put out some good info that should help you as far as nutrients. There’s a few different methods for topping up but check out this simple picture (check watermark for credit). It might help you understand what you need to accomplish. Ppm will depend on what your using and feeding chart, ph should be 5.7-6.1 for a small scale that will keep everything happy, shoot for that.

What gives you the idea I needed this? I've got Flora 3 part+CaliMagic down pat.

so should i use hydroguard and uc roots or just one?
and do i use this as part of my nutrient mix i top off with?
on the emerald harvest website they call for all these add ons, it seems to make it pretty dificult for someone new like me. will i grow nice buds just using the 3 part mix and hydroguard/uc roots , cal-mag. should i consider some add ons or willi be just fine keeping it simple.
