New Aeroflo2 60 Grow! Started from the ground up! Lots of Pics!!

Yeah I wouldn't want the aza in my smoke either. But I heard it was special because it's active ingredient was an enzyme or hormone from a bug resistant plant. I think what he should have said was u can spray it on tomatoes a few days before harvest. Or mayb he was just trying to get me to buy some.lol Mayb I should get some and after the harvest see if he smokes some if I offer it making it clear that they are drenched in aza lol. JJ. I haven't had any bug problems yet, but then again I'm not even half way thru. I'm thnking of starting flower next week. After I get my clones off of course. As for the pics, I'm using my iPhone as a laptop since my Internet got cut off till next week. Hopefully I'll have some pics on by then. I've been taking pics of the build and grow up till now.

Sounds good man!! make sure you give them a few days after taking clones before flipping the lights.. It will be a smoother transition that way!! What kind of lights are you using for veg? flower?

UPDATE: I did a reservoir change today! I have switched to 2tsp/gal floramicro, 4tsp/gal floragro, 1ml/gal floralicious plus, and 2tsp/gal KoolBloom liquid. I also moved the lights up... The lights are almost to the ceiling now... Just past week 5 of flower now.. i am also moving my room right after this grow so there will be a lapse in time before my next grow of 2 systems.. Hopefully only a week or 2 though.

I'm using T5 overdriven VHO's & 1000w mh for veg and 2 1000w hps for flower. Well the red VHO's & 1 1000w hps till my other one comes in. I had to switch the lights and do a res change Wednesday because 25 of them were over 12" tall. The 20 medium ones im gonna flower and hope to get at least a 1/2oz each, & The 10 smallest ones I'm going to save and put in my veg/cloner to keep em short and compact for next time. I made the mistake of putting them in my system before they were ready. Oh well it's a learning experience, next time I hope to fill all 64 sites with nice bushes! After this harvest I'm going to reinvest. I'm thinking about going with 3 600w electronic switchable ballasts or 2 1000watters air cooled of course, gonna get 6mm plastic and vapor seal the room and use panda film and co2. I just need this first one to go great! Don't have Internet on my laptop yet so no pics yet, but soon...

right on man!! sounds good for sure!! Def go with the 600w if you can.. It provides more light then 2 1000w bulbs.. and as for the switchable ballasts.. u dont need em.. You just need to get conversion bulbs!! Better performance! I am going to clone my mothers soon also because they got way too tall and they dont have any lower branches.

Had some slimey substance lining my res when I changed it Wednesday. After i cleaned it i flushed my lines and grow tubes with a 6.5 ph water/h2o2 solution. Seemed to have cleaned a lot of junk out cuz the water got real cloudy. Then I went and got some hygrozyme to mix in with this batch. Hopefully it will help keep the slime down. I'd hate for that shit to clog some of my sprayers. Have you had any slime problems using organics? I think the only reason I had some slime was because I ran a little molasses last fill up. Right now I'm running mostly synthetic nutes sensi bloom, bud candy, h2o2, hygrozyme, and going to run some bloombastic from week 4-6. Heard lots of awesome things about that bloombastic.

Stay away from organics in an aero system... They are the devil... Ask around.. anyone using aeroflo or DIY aerosystem will tell you it causes slime everywhere!

Good to kno. I'd hate to have to super flush and clean my system every week. They really seemed to do well with the molasses in there, but it's so hard to tell because they are so green and growing so fast I ran a 1tsp per gal weak strength this time. Hopefully the hygrozyme is the key. I can't wait to be able to afford the entire advanced line, so I don't have to use old methods like molasses. If I get slime this week, I'm defiantly going to keep it strictly synthetic. I have pushed my nutes up over 2000ppm, and haven't seen a single sign of over fert. My ppm meter only goes up to 1800, so it's getting difficult to keep track and calculate my ppms. But right now I should be around 2200-2400 keeping a close eye on leaf tips. But as I said, I haven't seen a single sign of over fert. I used peat pellets last time with good results. However I bought some rockwool this time and got quits a few clones off. So my next grow should be completely soil-less and synthetic. I made sure I took off more than I needed so I don't run into the same mistake having some that weren't ready. Also they have 8 weeks to root up before they are needed so hopefully I'll have a nice stock to work with and a better understanding of how my particular system works. I'll be watching your grow closely as well my friend when will you have some new pics? How is the flowering going?

The only organic i use is floralicious plus.. and I use it 1ml/gal so its really nothing.. I will have new pics in a day or so.. I am waiting on this sulfur burner to get here and I realized that the root aphid problem I was having is causing all of that discoloration in the leaves. I am going to get botanicare and pyrethrum tomorrow @ the hydro shop and hop that works and saves everything.

Would be nice if that works! I've never seen pics of a root infestation, I'm gonna have to look it up. Can't wait to see those pics man.

UPDATE.. i sprayed all of the plants today with azatrol and PM spray!! loaded em up with the stuff.. I also added 1500 ladybugs to the ladies hoping to slow down the spidermites!

Ah... never got to the end... I was loving that. Going to try build an aeroflo and do a similr grow, ill let you know how it goes.
