ok, so i just got the sh bubble system, but havent started using it yet, still have two ladies in a soiless thing, sooo anyway, they're flowering for a few weeks now but pretty slowly, i was just wondering if i dilute the shit out of the flowering nutes from the bubble system and put them in the girls will it hurt them? they;ve been growing for-fucking-ever since like june, in a windowsill and just put them under lights about a month and a half ago, i just want them to finish

well... in the bubble system there is only water, no minerals like in soil, so no way for plants to grow in such an environment

nutes are optional for soil, but are necessary for any hydro based growing

get some nutes, and follow the instructions on the labels, you basically have 3 type of nutrients - grow is for the veg state, bloom is for the flowering state, and micro is used all the way

you have a dwc????? your a few weeks into flowering???? your lighting sucks???


plants need food espetially in a soiless medium

not enough light will slow a plant dramatically as will no food

flowering doesnt really kik in til thew show sex so how long has it been since it showed

marijuana puts on its most weight in the last 4 weeks the first 2 or 3 is streatch time then you will see small nuggets start to form then they will start tofatten up in the 5th week

based on a plant that finishes in 8 weeks ment as a general guide

ok let me explain. i started 2 bag seeds in june? cant remember exactly when. at first i got 2 2' wal-mart growlights and put them under that right after they sprouted, but they didnt do so great so i stuck them in the windowsill where they actually did great. the smaller one started to show sex quite some time ago dont know how long, but still kept her in the window, eventually the taller one started to show as well but still didnt move them, well winter came and too much cold air by the windows and i stuck them in a wardrobe with those first two 2' lights and 3 25 watt cfls. and they were doing great i put them ona 12-12 as soon as i put them in there and the smaller ones bud started to grow nicely and the taller started to flower everywhere!! well for christmas my girlfriend ordered me the sh bubbleponics system with the 65 watt cfls. after trying to germinae about 15 or so bagseeds pretty much gave up on that until we can order some. so i ended up putting both 65 watt bulbs on the ladies as well and still are doing much much better, and im not really like worried about them, like they're fine for now. i was just wondering in i dilute some of the flower nutrients that came with the SH system would they help my plants in the soiless? i know they're hydro nutes and strong anyway, youre only supposed to use half a packet for like 6 gallons. i just have so much time with these plant i dont want to burn the hell outta them by doing this. oh yeah totally my first time even attempting to grow so i dont know shit about nutrients, so if you plan on answering me with numbers like 10-5-24 or whatever im not going to know what your talking about, so please just dont it will probably save both of us time

ok im not familiar with your hydro unit or nutes that came with it but most hydro nutes can be acidic meaning when you add the nutes to the water the ph will drop so you will need ph up to bring it up to about 5.8 since your in a soiless mix(considered hydro) for veg you wanna use a nute with a higher first number example 10-5-5, for flowering you want the last 2 numbers higher example 2-8-5, these numbers vary from nute to nute but higher last 2 for flowering. you an use your hydro nutes but since i dnt know what they are or what you got and they are specifically for that particular hudro unit i would get something like fox farms tiger bloom or even somthing from the local garden center you definatly wanna use somthing and you should start out light on the nutes if you notice burn starting flush imediatly and use less next time thats the best i can do for ya

ive been growing bagseed for 8 years if you cant germ them chances are you cant germ the ones you pay for, how did you try to germ them

put seed in a glass of water keep em warm for 24 hrs then plant in medium and keep em warm.... important to keep em warm

thanks, i do have a ph up and down but still they're for that system, and im not really going to start using that until i order some seeds, thinking about lowryder or somthing like that. but anyway, how would i even go about checking the ph since its in a promix? i have strips would i just like push one in there? and should i mix the bloom with some of the micro as well? it says to but thats for in the system and im still in promix, like i said im not really worried about the plants...they're ok i didnt really expect alot and so far ive got more than i expected, but they are growing slow, and its just been so long i want them to finish.
it doesnt say anything about the nutes on the packaging, it just has the insructions, ...mix one pack of micro in 6 gallons and mix bloom in as well until dissolved....so if i cut it and put it in soiless...will it work?

it would work but b carful and dnt mix the entire 6 gallons unless you plan on useing it, a ph probe is used in soil but if you check your water or nute solution and just adjust that you should be ok but go light on the nutes if you bern em it will take longer to flower and it sounds like your only half way through flowering

thats what i think too. like i said this is my first grow so im not to sure of anything, i did just mix the nutes, though extremely mildly with a gallon of wa. like a sixth of a teaspoon, of bloom and micro. some of the flowers on the smaller one have orangeish pistils now, but i think that may be because it had matured so much then i forced it on the 12-12, it has plenty of trichys but they're still pretty clear, the bigger one is just starting to get trichs on her. maybe another month or so??
