Well heres the issue, plant has some black stuff on the leaves, no clue what it is.

1 month old, ffof soil, fresh ph water, c02 tank for the room, temp 77-82, 600 mh, 24/0, 2 1/2g pots.

now for like a week my ph was low and i didnt catch it, it was 5.0-6.0. Now i got my ph to 6.5 and i have seen new growth out of the plant but still this black stuff.

Plant is kandy kush x skunk fem and the comparison thats getting the same water and everything is violator kushs,

Any ideas?

Yo man that totally looks like a type of mold. whats the humidity in the room. too much moisture on leaves for too long could cause mold

"It could be over fertilization, but more likely it is due to the pH being off. Too high or too low a pH can lock up nutrients in the form of undisolvable salts and compounds, some of which are actually toxic to the plants. What then happens is the grower then tries to supplement the plants diet by adding more fertilizers, throwing off the pH even more and locking up even more nutrients. This type of problem is seen more often in soil mixes, where inconsistent mixing of the medium's components leads to "hot" spots."

Im pretty sure it's not mold, it's not growing on the leaf it's like in the leaf. I do have air moving I have a blizzard fan for air movement. I was looking at this website and i think it's called " spotting " from ph lvl's being off. Here's the link. http://www.ganjaguerrilla.net/Album9.htm looks almost identical to the problem I am having. Messed up ph level's will cause food supplies to lock up therefore the plant is not getting the appropriate food supply it needs, thats why my leaves are turning yellow with this " spotting " it's locking out the N to my plant.

Im not a total noob I would Know if it's mold and it's not. I appreicate the opinions though.

Any one there heard of this so called spotting? My ph is 6.5 but I haven't checked my run off yet will do tonight. If my soil ph is off how would I higher the ph level in the soil.

Thanks

Also humidity is around 30-40% so another reason I don't think it is mold.

Looks like nute burn to me also...monitor your new growth and see how it revives itself. Should be fine after a while.

It looks to me like you spilt some of that pH'd water on the leaves. If its isolated & not in the new growth i wouldn't worry too much about it. One week is not enough for it to be damaged by the low pH you made it experience. The black stuff as you put it will never change no matter what you feed it m8, thats over with, now you must look at the new growth!
