I've been emailing my local shop and they've offered me a great setup, but thing is I'm nervous buying all of it from them . I mean it's sorta obvious what I'm buying it for right?why else would you need high powered lights and a carbon filter?should I be nervous?

Thanks,
Johnny

Ps damn auto correct. Buy not by!

no, most hydro shops dont give a fuck what your doin just dont go in askin about how to grow dope .they might get a little freaked out thinkin your tryin to set them up. (if a cop goes in and starts askin how to grow weed and they give advise they can get poped for consircy to grow it has happened) they have the same fears you do .pay cash

In my opinion it depends on how big the city you live in is. I am paranoid as f%^&. I have heard there are people watching the stores and all. I would buy from them using cash and going there to pick everything up in someone elses car. Everything with my setup is homemade and bought off craigslist or homedepot.

you also would be good to buy shit off ebay. Your personal information is never shared with anyone and your identity is kept private when buying from places like HTG supply through ebay, and other gardening shops like that. that are pretty good about it. Just make sure the feedback is positive, and make sure it says that your identity will be kept private. Even your screen name wont show up on anyones records.

But if your gonna buy from your local dro shop, do like everyone else says, n just pay cash. I personally make it a point to not buy anything more than simple ducting, soil, nutes, ect from those stores in person. I never make any type of big purchase cuz my ass is paranoid just like you lol.

Also, just because your buying a carbon filter and a light setup dont mean its obvious your growing pot. Alot of plants n vegetables that you grow indoors tend to give off a smell of some kind, and they sell the filters for that very reason. When you have an indoor growroom, no matter what your growing, you dont want your whole house smelling like tomatoe plants. If it was all directly relateable to pot growers, the hydro shops wouldnt be able to sell it bro. The shops are there for a reason, and it aint to grow pot (alledgedly ;) )

I always pay cash. The hydro shop I used a few times shredded customer information. You can ask if they keep records, most likely, they won't. mc1969 said right.

If you guys really think the hydro shops are around to grow other plants indoors you're kidding yourself.

Not many people are willing to spend the kind of money to grow tomato plants or lettuce indoors, the MAJORITY of purchases at hydro stores is going to be related to growing pot, period.
