For every single individual who decides to grow outdoors, it is a calculated risk. You can reduce your odds of being found out by picking a good spot, covering your tracks, not telling anyone, and other things, but in the end it comes down to if you're willing to take that risk or not. No one else can make that call for you.

Pretty much what he said. And HELL yes low flying air traffic sends me running for cover. Later in the season I see the one man small black heli's but good luck finding my patch. I have a friend up in Maine with his pilots licence, a few years back we flew over his patch just to what it looked like from above, to be honest I couldn't even tell it was there. As long as you don't plants corn field style or completley strip away all vegetation and make it blend it's VERY difficult to spot.

yeah a perfect example is in the pictures of plants in the wild.... blend in so well some of them are hard to see, even on ground level looking right at em.... how else do you think I lost a couple plants outside earlier this spring? Totally forgot where they were until I damn near tripped over them. Nice weather you got over there for sure though. Wish it would brighten and warm our day here a little more too..... 29 degrees outside last night :(

damn i thought there were like no wild snakes up there, i'm by the Canadian border and i only see garter snakes. But plants are looking great so far, i think i accidentally killed one of my plants transplanting yesterday (heard some roots tear at the base of the stem) and now it won't stand up good, hope its alright :(

I just googled it, turns out it's a Milk snake. There are different types of milk snakes and the one for my state is the same as the one I saw. Little fucker had some balls to just jump out and bite me for no reason. I didn't even see him, I was just walking by and the little bastard bit me in the leg.

Gotta love the great outdoors, haha. Spend half my time looking down watching for snakes and the other half looking out for bears...and the other half looking behind me making sure I'm not being followed.

haha!! fucking snakes. the can scare the shit out out of you huh nel. we had a plot in a protected wildlife area that was loaded with rattle snakes one year. talk about being on your toes..... looking good by the way. keep up the good work.

NEL, whats your rule of thumb for dividing up your plants, like say if I wanted to grow 20 plants, how many plots would I want to do it in?
Also, my buddy was telling me about a guerilla grow idea, where people grow in pots and hang them from trees. What would your feelings be on this?
