Have noticed small webs on one of my plants and i think it may be spider mites. Anoto treat the problem now. But had a question. I have neem oil and azamax. I was wondering if i could use the azamax as a foliar and neem oil in a drench. But can i do the drench and the foliar at the same time or do one, wait a few days then do the other.

Do the foliar for spider mites. Neem is systemic, but by doing a drench, it'll be absorbed in the roots then sent throught the plant, however spider mites wont eat past the phloem of the plant and I believe neem would be transported through the xylem (might be wrong on this part)

Hi Hotshotdashit. if you want to nip it in the BUD. lol The aza is very toxic IMO the Neem is ok but won't rid you of your little pests, Have you ever heard of Organibliss ? if not I would suggest you look it up on the net, organibliss.com. It worked for me I got a clone from a friend, " I might say Never do that " it got bad before i really noticed it, Freaking Pests. Always quarintine I tried the aza with no avail execpt a sore throat and a headache, Just try it, I no its expensive but it does work and your plants love it, I hope you get rid of those little pests before you have to go to the last resort, Good luck I think anyone in this grow field will find the Organibliss very interesting.

Thank you Cheapo! ...azamax is all the same thing azadectin or the fancy name for neem oil, if you can stick with the real stuff and add your own soap, and save 700%..? lol
Neem Oil is systemic plants can drink it up, and great for general bug and mold/fungi protection, add a teaspoon to your watering more so this month than another ...just for the Pm, root rot and all them other nasty molds, spider mites are best handled as a spray, 2-3 times per day until clear ...no big deal, and top it up with adding neem to your water too .....good luck

how much do u add per gal
2 teaspoons should do it, or read the label, but ge tthe pure stuff so you add your own teaspoon of dish soap or in my case hair shampoo.

I add that cause neem for me was/is a solid goddamm block of cheese its got to sit in the sun or in a m/wave for a few seconds
to go wet like ..once wet I prefer to add a pinch of hair shampoo, the deal here is many use dish soap (UGH) and is highly recommended, but if you think about it cleaning hair is no biggy but getting the product to the hair is, hence the surfactant of choice ...use hair shampoo ..companies spend a fortune studying this surfactant thing!

On my bottle it says one dosage per week. I thought this may not be enough. I planned on foliar spraying every 3 days. But you say 3 times per day is recommended?

This maybe one of the best preference tips I've seen on rollitup... good shit! I've had to use neem, and used dish soap...and I dno if I didn't add enough or what but it still suffocated most of my leaves! Next time it's needed I will use hair shampoo!

Thanks everybody. I decided to start them off with a saturating foliar of azamax. I think ill repeat this one more time. I also went out and bought a gallon of mighty wash. Ill rotate these back and forth until 2nd week of flower. Then I'll start my soil drench every week with cold pressed neem oil until 2 weeks before harvest. Hope this works. Has anyone tried mighty wash for mites.

Americans have corn for breakfast I like Neem Burgers ...lol, ..neem oil breaks down real fast under sun's and hps Uv' rays, if foilar spraying bugs and you have them now ....3 times per day is good, allow the neem to dry out between shots, neem works by choking the bugs to death, or starving them out, but you HAVE TO apply it long enough to catch the fuckers hatching out, that means 10 day minimum, and try to catch under the leaves too, its important to know what bugs you are hunting, and their habits, but really at the end of the day ...bugs are always attracted to weakened plants, ...so find out why they are weak? ...yeah spider mites are one of the worst ... I'd still be firing 2x times per day morning and night

Yeah : ...I had spider mites once in Norway back in the 80's fuckers just about wiped out my 3rd? commercial crop, I had to use Malathion, never ever again, even then the customers bitched like mad,..almost had to give the crop away, ...theres a great youtube vid of the spider mite circus ...or there was?

how much do u add per gal
5ml of per gallon of water which is 1 tsp of oil, then I add a small handful soap nuts to a jar of filtered water and shake it (soaking it gets more saponins out) but you done need to soak. Then I add the soap foam/liquid to the gallon mixture until it is completely emulsified.

My anti-mold / anti- bug solution is as follows:
1.5 litre water
1.5 teaspoons neem seed oil
1.5 teaspoons dawn organic non-antibacterial hand soap
1.5 teaspoons baking soda (sodium bicarbonate ) Potassium Bicarbonate would work better but much more expensive.

Works great to kill and prevent the spreading of powdery mildew and I would try it in a spider mite problem cant hurt.

I've used neem oil on plants as a drench before but I wash it off the leaves the next day as they say it plugs the stomata, or what ever. Good shit though, I got rid of a nest of yellow jackets with that stuff.

Ok heres where i stand. I went out yesterday to my local hydro store. Bought 1 gallon of mighty wash. Already had azamax and neem oil but never used it. Yesterday i did a foliar and DRENCHED the leaves both top and bottom. Today i inspected my ladies and didnt see one mite. I plant hit them with the mighty wash tomorrow and rotate the two products every 2 or 3 days. When i flip 12/12 i plan to do a soil drench with neem oil until 2 weeks before harvest. Question. Should i use the neem or go out and buy predator mites to kill the fuckers in flower. Cant/Dont wanna do any foliars in flower. Any other suggestions are welcome for flower stage.

they die getting sticked to the budMy experience with these 'pet' mites is ...that they can be just as annoying as the bad bugs (imo), thats way I'm on organic chems, often I thought that I'd detect neem oil in the weed but in the last 10 years I haven't...it dissipates with ease, as for your pet bugs .., ....they die late by starving to death ...on that very bud you wanna smoke...lol

for that roasted bug flavored weed ....lol

Ok. So do you think that neem/azamax will be enough to hold off these critters throughout my flower cycle? If not what do you recommend i use? I dont wanna foliar anything at any time. So i wanna use something that i can use as a soil drench. Have you ever tried sns as a soil drench?
