Neem oil - Don't use it before reed this!!!

I did a cannabis growing experiment. For many years I smoked regularly. Currently I don't smoke practically anything and that's why I tried a budha seed cbd medikit.

The taste and smell were excellent. I really enjoyed it. And so, when it was over, I planted one more. Since it caught the spider mite, I used neem oil as instructed on the web forums. It was HORRIBLE  . Now the entire crop literally smells like neem, terribly bad and tastes terribly bad!

Whoever teaches how to use this oil should warn about the need to wash the plant very well in the days before harvesting. Simulating heavy rain with a hose, then washing the buds on harvest day before putting them out to dry, but no one warns of this on the forums.

So what I ask you masters is a suggestion. Do I throw all this crap in the trash or is there a way to try to wash the already dried buds?

Thank you all

This is why you do not spray your plants with neem oil during flower..

No oils, no pesticides, basically spray nothing on the flowers. Sounds like you got lax on your IPM, I did and I cut 4plants and torched them, they were too far gone to try to save. Find your infestation vector. How'd they get in, if you're outside, add predators as a preventative. If you're inside, clean it up and sterilize. Since I now have the option, I don't knowingly smoke bugs, but I'll smoke a bug before I use anything in flower.

Neem stinks.. and as an oil it doesnt rinse off easy.
Not something to spray on anything you want to smoke

Nothing? About 30 days into flower people suggested I foliar my plant with K (potash) & Epsom salts diluted in water. It definitely got on the buds. Will that be a problem at harvest time?

Really fresh neem oil smells much better, a lot like peanut butter to me, like Duke said. I've noticed a big quality/freshness difference between brands, and a corresponding difference in smell.

If its unsmokeable, make cannaoil for edibles.. Lesson learned..
Citric acid is a better choice for pests.. 2 tsp per qt water
Citric acid like lemon juice?

Any way thanks to you all. But I read several forums and even ask in a grow shop and no one tell me not to use in flowering stage. And I tried to avoid put it in flowers but...probably I miss.

So basically I concluded that you guys don´t think it is possible to wash, correct?

Some step by step good tutorial to make cannaoil? Can I put that oil in tobacco and smoke it?

Thanks to you all

Citric acid like is in lemon juice..... diluted.
It's in the forums, you just gotta look. Don't trust the grow shop. Most know less than you.
How easy is it to wash off oil? Ime, it's not.
