I don't think that light will cut it. You will need 10000 - 15000 lumens for the plant to be worth your time. Make sure what ever light you buy has the lumens listed.

thanks for your time! can you please suggest a cfl bulb on ebay? and also, a plug for the cfl so i can plug straigh into the mains? i live in australia btw

maybe 2 or 3 of these at 2700 rating
and one with a 5000 rating...
you should be fine to use them in both veg and flower.
I would price shop a bit, I didn't search much. I know the same bulb is $16 at my local home depot.

The cost for cfl bulbs can add up, you might want to think about a 250 watt hps bulb and ballast, probably about $150.
Hps will put off more heat though. I am not familiar with Australian sockets but these should fit I would think.

And I agree with nutesandnugs, do a lot of reading before you buy anything...

Yea I went with a Apollo Horticulture 600 Watt Digital Ballast with both MH (55k lumens) and HPS (98k Lumens). No need to go too cheap if you don't have to, since it will really help in the end.
