Needin Some Basic Growing Help, Hempy Bucket Grower

First off I have a plant that looks great all but the fact that the leaves are starting to curve down and i was told that it was caused by overwatering... Is this true?

Secondly I was told that i need to start using some nutrience.... What is the best thing to get.... Something simple and easy to use and if possible something that can be bought at wal-mart

Any Help Is Greatly Appreciated

Overwatered and underwatered plants droop, is that what you mean by curve down? Cant help you with what to buy in wal-mart mate as I'm in the UK.

Put one capful of Hydrogen Peroxcide per gallon of water. Add one tablespoon molases per gallon once a week in veg. Look up fox farm grow big and look at the NPK then find something at walmart to match or come close.

What does the hydrogen peroxide do?

I feel as though a nutrient cocktail will be a disaster. I'm trying to go organic so I'm using molasses so far. Still researching other nutrients.

im wondering the same thing?
i remember doing a growing experiment back in grade school and we watered some plant with peroxide and water and different mixtures for all the others and the one with peroxide did better than the one with plain water! weird i wonder???

Well, I just read up on it and the hydrogen peroxide reacts with the water causing more oxygen in the soil promoting growth.

bottom line: it helps out the roots and plant by supplying more oxygen.

You need to use a very tiny amount mixed with a lot of water. No more than a capful of hydro peroxide to a gallon of water. My suggestion would be to try half a capful first just to test it out.

yeah i read up on it too. nobody has tryed more than that so ill try it. i dont think it will make a difference, just kill more unwanted stuff

Yes Hydrogen Peroxcide will keep more oxygen around the roots and also help with over watering.
Good research up there Lemon.
They sell a product a plant boosting product that is a stronger Hydrogen Peroxcide, but you have to use a very small amount to one gallon of water. Well why buy into that when you can just give 3% hydrogen peroxcide for 2$ a bottle.

Your not going to get a benificial grow with just perlite. The roots can not anchor to anything also there will be more air around roots which can cause many problems.
Air bad
Oxygen good.

not sayin that your wrong goldenganja13 but alot of people say that the hempy bucket with pure perlite is a great and easy way for a begginer.... and i looked at some people that grew in perlite from start to finish and had great yeilds.... once again not sayin your wrong at all but im testing alot of different mediums to grow in and this is working great so far, thanks for the advise though....

Perlite holds no moisture. How are the roots going to thrive?
Perlite will have pockets of air, not oxygen. Air will stop root growth, and even prune roots that stick out of a container.
The Odds are not with you.
I would suggest adding vermiculite to your perlite. I am not convinced it would work, but the vermiculite holds moisture.
