Well...as long as you got it lol
"I am just trying to make sense of my data " Problem with your data is that you haven't accumulated enough of it yet for it all to add up. You're getting way ahead of yourself. Cycles, cycles, cycles!!!
You're on week 8. Now, do you think your plants are eating as much now as they were when they were stretching and bulking up in weeks 1-6/7 of flower?????? Of course not. Not even close. Fact is...you lower your nutes closer to harvest to promote trichome production to get that nice dank smoke.
"I find it hard to believe that they didn't eat anything" Back to the top and one more time... You have 100 potatoes on a plate and tell someone to eat all the food. They eat 5. Doesn't look like they ate too much. Now... you have 5 potatoes on a plate and you tell someone to eat all the food and they do...Are you getting the picture yet. Your wasting all your nutes. #1 rule of thumb for hydro, especially RDWC, is that less is more. Go ask your "local experienced growers" about that. BTW I hope your "local experienced growers" isn't your local hydroponic shop; although, that would explain a lot.
My advice...Read everything twice and if you don't get it read it again. Excitement can make a person overlook key components of the art that would otherwise be punching them right in the flippin kisser. I know because I've been there. Get a grow journal if you don't already have one (pretty sure you do) and do NOT stop hammering out the data. Whatever concentration you were using for nutes...cut them in half. Then when you are done doing that...cut them forkers in half again.
