need to keep em short is it possible 2 start flower after first node starts

well im gunna have 21 inches after i switch it 2 a new location its 1 inch now and has almost the third node 1 more set of leaves should do it so in like 3 days it will be about another half inch maby i kept it reli short and bushey

i wasthinking of lolli poppin it so its gets done faster would that help it stay a lil shorter or whats the advantages of doin that becides the big top

I think you are right on the money, besides the topping.

The other thing you may consider in regards to height is training them in a screen. you can place your lights right where you want them.

Another way to keep a plant small is to use a smaller pot but then the buds are smaller too.

I say use the 5" pot, top at about 5 inches tall then add a poultry screen a couple inches above them and let them grow. train the branches out into a screen. Veg as long as it takes to fill the screen then flower.

No problem with height and you get a lot more.

hmm good idea may have 2 build it in ... question does a plant have 2 wait 2 go 2 2700 spectrum like 24 hours or will the 12 hr dark period be plenty to switch

You can use all the lights you have if you want. I veg with HPS as well as floursents.
The ides is the plant will produce more thc with the lower numbers lights. this happens mostly in flower. But a plant will grow under any spectrum. The more lights the more penetrating power you have.

When switching cycles from 18/6 to 12/12 I like to go 24 off then start them at 12/12 I keep the veg nutes for one more week then flower nutes.

sounds nice as hell ive never seen a micro grow.. ive had issues with space but made room somehow.. wife lost a closet in the final say lol grats subscribed

haha ya well to update every 1 im constructing my 18''x14''x24 tommrow well its already thier im just venting and shit / air sealing exc

switch to 12.12 2700k spectrum today and already notciced a slight shift in nodes i think this is a good sign :D
