I too thought "style wise" the Kona looked the best. I like em tight.Of the three I like the Kona. It has the best looking rear end. (and it's tight!)
Probably going to the Subaru dealer on Friday. A lot of it depends on how pissed off they make me with their low ball trade in offer. I imagine they'd give me the most for it anyway.
Mercedes still makes good cars...lol. For a bit more than an Impreza you can grab a base c or cla series I think. Go used and you can prob get a sweet deal in a better car than I Subaru.I think everything is just made to break now. They're all shit. That's why I was looking at the Hyundai and Kia because of the long warranty. I'd be out convenience but not money. I'm a little tainted on both Toyota and Subaru. Had a Tundra before my F150 and other than the motor having 208k miles everything else on that truck was junk and had to be replaced multiple times. I've always had Subarus growing up but they do have a lot of recalls, rust away to shit and do nickel and dime you on little sway links and shit to death.
good call. the shorter the warranty, the better the car IMO.Probably going to the Subaru dealer on Friday. A lot of it depends on how pissed off they make me with their low ball trade in offer. I imagine they'd give me the most for it anyway.
Be careful with new Subaru’s, I bought a 2018 sport I used for a month because the clutch started slipping in the short of time and they made me pay to fix a faulty part because it’s not covered by warranty. I don’t care what part breaks in a month, if it’s a brand new car, the company should cover it. LolProbably going to the Subaru dealer on Friday. this wasn't you by chance?? lolBe careful with new Subaru’s, I bought a 2018 sport I used for a month because the clutch started slipping in the short of time and they made me pay to fix a faulty part because it’s not covered by warranty. Lol that’s awesome. Not me though, I wouldn’t buy American. I guess we have the Tesla but I had that pos. Lolthis wasn't you by chance?? lol
The matrix is an ugly thing, but for what they go for on the used market they are a steal compared to the other toyota offerings. We had an ‘88 glf Subaru it was an ok car my wife loved it, me not so much. We’ve had a dozen or so Toyota’s I’m currently driving a 06 Tacoma with 200,00 on it , same clutch and it is fully loaded ( not with features but with tools and supplies) I often toe a trailer , it’s weak and slow and has had so many recalls I can’t count them all. My wife is driving a Matrix and loves that thing. In the past we’ve had three Camrys , a Avlon , a couple corollas and all were good cars. I personally am a Chevy man but I probably won’t ever buy a new one again. I am in need of a new truck but can’t decide on which one I like maybe a dodge this time.

Kara got herself a shiny sporty sportage. I cant say anything bad about it. Its creeping near the warranties end.. nothing will break on it lolShe currently has a 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport wagon. We bought it new a little over 9 years ago. It's been a pretty ok car. Hasn't needed anything major yet. Little shittin $150 links and shit here and there. But like most cars in the NE here everything underneath is rusty. I've been looking at AWD Hyundai Kona and AWD Kia Sportage because the warranties are so good. Bumper to bumper 5 years/60kmiles on both. 10 years/100k powertrain on both. But think the best value might be in trading it back in to the Subaru dealer and getting another Impreza. Only a 3year/36k mile bumper to bumper and 5year/60k powertrain. The Hyundai and the Kia are both alittle more loaded than the impreza too. You guys have any opinions?
Kona
Sportage
Impreza
The matrix is a solid performer for a steal, my friend drove one in to the ground and barely maintained it. We shopped around for my wife looking for a sub 10k commuter car with good gas mileage. I wanted anything but a ford, but she found a fiesta titanium edition fully loaded that no one wanted cause it was a manual..... pleasantly surprised so far but not really anything to write home about. The matrix is an ugly thing, but for what they go for on the used market they are a steal compared to the other toyota offerings.
Has good bones and a small market
Dissenting opinion. Since their disastrous dalliance with Chrysler, Merc models have consistently used the bottom 10 on the reliability and satisfaction lists as a place to congregate and share a doob.Mercedes still makes good cars...lol. I drove a cheap Pontiac vibe for a couple months until it sold. Same car as the matrix. Just got a Pontiac logo on it. Was a pretty solid car. Easy to work on and drove pretty well. Comfy ride for something named after a womans play toyThe matrix is a solid performer for a steal, my friend drove one in to the ground and barely maintained it. My sister and mother drive Subaru and love em, been in the shop a few times tbh but nothing major and iirc not too expensive out of pocket. All depends on what you want and need the vehicle to do. We are in a position with young kids that cars are just disposable snot buckets for now.
