Yea I use AzaMax as a soil drench both times after I replant. I also found this if it helps

"Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis (Bti) bacteria which can be purchased as mosquito dunks or gnatrol. Bti is the most appropriate anti gnat biological control agent for DWC systems.

Occasionally a dry layer of sand is recommended as a deterrent to fungus gnats. This technique should be discouraged as the close packing nature of the sand particles reduces the quantity of oxygen which penetrates down into the root zone."

i already have some Azamax on hand. i will have to look up the directiosn for gnat soil drench. just so i am correct, a soil drench is just so the top layer is moist, correct? if i were to use my sprayer, would that be the best bet? so i only saturate the top layer of soil and not necessarily pouring in more then need be? would this be my best bet???
