need some simple answer plz

i live in northern cal. watz all really need for outdoor growing. i been reading about how everyone use all these methods.
i just want a simple grow with a fair yeild.
i plan on mixing my planting ground with foxfarm soil.
is there anything else? does grow big nd the other foxfarm products work outdoorz?
how often should a person water there plant outdoors?

I think I'd amend the actual soil already in the ground for growing weed rather than pouring mixes into a hole, assuming amendments were handy and that the native soil wasn't total crap, like pine floor.

Or maybe use a outdoor planter?

yes why wouldnt fox farms nutes work out doors?

for watering.. when the plant is just a baby dont over water at all, the soil should just be able to clump together, a good trick is use a wooden ruler and stick it 4 inches deep if it comes up with no soil attached to it its to dry.. there should be some soil sticking to the ruler.

how often should i water if the weather is between 80 nd high 90z? thankz for the information. i have one more question i where i live it gets really hot so should i try not to expose my plant to the sun or is it good to do that?

I don't think you can give your plant too much sun, despite the heat . . . assuming you can access it easily for watering.
You'll learn the signs from your plant(s) when water is needed. Drooping leaves is a big one.
