how many plants are you going to be flowering? i am planning on doing a scrog myself, and this is what i am planning to do. i have a 4x4x8 flowering room, that has nothing in it. i plan to flower 4 plants in 5 gallon buckets. i measured the buckets at approx. 14'' tall. i am going to flower them when they're about 20 inches tall. so that is 20'' plus 14'' = 34''. so i marked a line in all four corners of the room at 34''. i am going to get (3)2x2s, make the necessary cuts, and screw them into the wall at the marks. next i will get some chicken wire and cut out a 4x4 piece and nail it ontop of the 2x2s. when the plants reach the wire i will flip the lights and when they start pushing through the wire, i will start rapping the branches around the chicken wire. this is the simplest way i can think of to do it.

haven't done it, but i guess you just put up a screen.... i'm gonna do 2" chicken wire. about 6" over the soil. it's in a PC, 17 inches high....... when the whole screen gets covered, switch to 12/12.

I scrog in just about every make shit cabinet I whip up out of whatever. There is no preference, but was mainly developed if the use of clf lights are in use(maximize light use outta those week som' bitches.) Not going to lie I use it under my 400w mH/hps combo with even better results then my first attempts under many # of clfs lol. Again, no specific anything required beside a net anywhere from 12 to 18 inches above the top of you pot (basically where the plant breaks the soil) and just start to weave it through the 2x1 chicken wire as it grows threw it(I use some plastic looking fence stuff, too stoned to remember what it really is). Dont always have to use twist ties (i prefer pipe cleaners; 2 bucks for a pack of 100, and they are soft so I would think a tad nicer to the plants then twist ties.) but they help to maintain form. Remember to only fill the screen about 60 percent during veg, and when you flip the lights 12/12 the stretch that happens will almost always fill the rest, and then some. If you fill 100 percent and then switch the lights I promise you will do way more damage then good. Anyways, after the flower stretch stops, basically everything above the net turns to pretty nugs. Get mighty dense up there, support is sometimes needed. I usually trim the under side of the net of all stragler branches/fan leaves that havent made it to the net. They will end up dying anyways due to literally no light recieved due to that sexy canopy of nugs up there. Also will shoot the nutes in the water to the places that could use it much more then the struggling leaves down beneath. I could keep going but my bowls beat so imma wrap this 3rd grade level one big on going sentence up.

Best of luck champ!
