Need some opinions on this grow.

My past grows have been dwc, so this is my first time with soil. I have 6 different strains in ffof with 25% perlite.

The girls are about to be 6 weeks this Monday and I haven’t fed them yet. They’re starting to show their first signs of nut deficiency. I’m planning on feeding them some molasses I also have some fox farm nuts from the dwc.

What do you guys think, should I feed them nuts or stick to molasses? I also heard recharge worked well, would love some feed back!

They have some N toxicity going on . You can tell by the color and the sharp hooks on some of the leaves (not the droop). I'm not familiar with that funky discoloration you have going on with the leaves however. Is your PH in check ? I'm a big fan of molasses. I use it when ever I feel/remember to do it. Just keep in mind it's not a feed for the plant, it's for the microbes that feed that plant. If it was me I would give a very low feed to the plants, 200-300 ppm and back off the N.

Yea, I noticed that darker green showing up. I took that photo before or as I was watering them which is why I’m thinking she was looking droopy. I haven’t check run off PH but any water I put in is in the 6.5 range, which now that I think about it sounds a little higher end.

I must say, growing in this medium is far so much easier then DWC. I’m just not used to watering and the unknown of how much of what is in the soil. I guess that’s why it’s probably better to go with a clean medium and mend it yourself.

I ordered black strap organic molasses, and recharge. I’ll see if that can take care of these issues.

The white blotches on leaves could be plant edema from over watering. Check under side of leaves for bumps, blisters or other abnormalities that would be another symptom.

FFOF is pretty nute dense … some strains deplete / exhaust it quicker than others . Yours seem to have more than enough still in medium. Stalk and stems green , leaf a little dark but shows medium is still nuted well. I would add nothing as it is still working thru it.

Keep your watering as needed as plant continues to deplete it at its own pace. Molasses is just a junk food treat for microbes and bumps activity. But does nothing for strain and it’s genetics. To bump flowering , you can add kelp to water.

But I wouldn’t add more Nutes on top of a still hot soil.
