Need some opinions... Moving inside

I have an unfinished basement that I want to do some growing in.. my question is would you build a room/rooms or get tents? Electrical issues are no problem, that is my trade. I just cant make my mind up on what would be better. I plan on having 2 1000 watt hps for flower and floros for veg. I am looking into a 4x8 gorilla tent for flower and a 4x4 for veg and clones if I go the tent route. I was also thinking of getting an 8x8 instead and grow into the full tent eventually but not sure how good that would be. I hear people say tents are easier to get started and dialed in but wanted to ask here before I started my new project.

keep it small to start with and move up as the plants and u need room

building the room is the better off in the long run (since u can do what u like and fashion it to your style/needs) ................as for tents they are great .........i grow in one for flowering and veggie start in anouther and when that is not being used for veggie it is a drying/curing tent

justugh thanks for the reply.. One more question.. If I get the 8x8 could I just put the lights in the middle and only use say a 4x4 area in the middle to start and then later expand out to 4 1000 watters or with the reflective walls be too far away for any benefit? Im just trying not to have to upgrade tents later if I can do it..
