Hopefully you have done some training techniques if you are going to veg longer than 4 weeks with a 5 foot tall tent. I have a 5 foot tall tent and topped my plants a few times and only vegged for 4 weeks and after my Blue Dream stopped stretching in flower the buds are only about 12in from my led lights with the lights maxed out for height. Give or take a few inchs. Just my thoughts on your tent size. By the way hope you have a great grow and enjoy yourself.

Not to be contrarian, but just to add a bit...
Yes, most suggest that mothers are at least 2 months old, but of course older is fine and younger can be...in a pinch. Mother plant should also be in veg state, but it also is possible to get clones from those in flower...while time length to rooting increases with each week since flip it seems.
My experience only includes 2 strains but neither come close to doubling in size post flip. 33% maybe. I would really have to witness a 2ft plant become a 6 ft plant to believe it.
. I contend that it is often quoted but seldom really experienced. At least not with many flipped after reaching 2'. But sure, if you do not know the strain and ceiling height is tight it is probably a good idea to leave plenty of room.

Depending on your ability to obtain all your needs. Id focus on just one plant and learn all you can on your first grow unlike me.. And by your next grow youll will be ahead more than your first grow. So before you flower start stratigizing and preparing for your next grow.
