Need some info on my grow room (first time grower)

Hi my grow room is 6ft L and 4.5ft w and 4ft H ive got a 600w HPS. I want to get the max out of my set up and dont know should i get lots of small plants or a few big ones and will a 6" pot do for the hole plants life not sure on pot sizes any info would be a great help.

That is the big question. With containers, it is good to talk about volume and not diameter or height. I think smaller plants are easier to manage as a new grower.

yep its all about gallons rather than diameters you could have a really tall 6inch pot thats 10 gallons so :/ lots of small plants generic 6inch pots will be fine for the whole life, but big plants you'll want more space as they have bigger root systems etc.

I'll have to disagree with that one

One or 2 big plants are way easier to manage than say 20-30 small plants, just easier imho (especially seein' as they would all be in separate pots XD

but thats only out of ease of use... in general many plants if one goes wrong its no biggy but if you got 2 bigg'uns an 1 dies, time = wasted.

if this is your first time growing I would recommend some light reading, like the cannabis grow bible, or maybe some videos? you can watch high times's ready set grow pts 1 and 2 on youtube
